Shawn Bosco Fernandes, known by his stage name Shawn Desman, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, dancer and choreographer of Portuguese and Italian descent. He began his career recording Portuguese albums and touring before transitioning to mainstream pop/R&B music. Desman's 2002 self-titled debut album went gold in Canada with hits like "Shook" and "Get Ready." His 2005 album Back for More won the Juno Award for Best R&B/Soul Recording of the Year. Further successes include the platinum singles "Night Like This" and "Electric" from his 2010 album Fresh, which earned him a Video of the Year award at the Much Music Video Awards and Canadian Dance/Pop Song of the Year at the Stylus Awards. In 2013, Desman released the album Alive along with an accompanying short film that won Outstanding Short Film at the Reel World Film Festival. After a hiatus to focus on family, he made a comeback in 2022 after being invited by Drake to perform at OVO Fest, leading to his single "Maniac." Desman has also co-founded the duo RadioClub with Tebey and worked as a producer for artists like Nick Carter and Kreesha Turner.

Absolutely loves every minute of last night! 💕 Shawn was amazing 🤩 and super interactive with the crowd! Had EVERYONE on their feet dancing and singing along to every song!!! Hands down one of the best experiences!! Hope he comes back to Winnipeg again 💯🤙🎤🎶💕
This concert was everything I could have hoped for! Shawn Desman was amazing, energetic, personal, and attentive to his audience! Will definitely attend again. Loved Commodore Ballroom as the venue. Was my first time there and I look forward to attending future concerts there. Thank you organizers!
After all these years you can tell how grateful Shawn Desman is seeing all his fans reunite for his show. It really pumps him up to give it his all. I’d rate his concert 10/10
