    Beautiful music for the ears

by Brik on 2014-11-19West End Cultural Centre - Winnipeg

Unlike the opening act in Winnipeg, in which I could not make out the lyrics at all; the sound for Adam Cohen was spot on. His lyrics besides being legible were quite straight forward, but beautifully portrayed. I love his line "she had nothing on but the radio". He had a very good rapport with the audience and broke the show up well with audience dialogue. His back up band of cello and violins was very lovely to hear; and his duet ofSweet Dominique was a highlight for me.

Fantastic show and mutual love between him and the audience! Sold out and I'm sure he'll be at a larger place next time but WECC is such a wonderful space that has an intimate vibe. Enjoyed by all!!

    Adam Cohen and Dugas

by GrannyGregor on 2014-11-17West End Cultural Centre - Winnipeg

The concert was wonderful from start to end. Dugas is amazing. Her voice is out of this world. Both members of Dugas are amazing. Adam Cohen and crew - I loved every minute of the concert. The music was wonderful, voices, instruments, drums, everything. Very fun!! And funny! I am in love with Leonard Cohen and now I'm in love with Adam too!

Excellent concert, unique staging, and fun

by Splash2 on 2014-11-17West End Cultural Centre - Winnipeg

Adam Cohen was great, his songs are interesting, his voice is deep and gravely like his Dad's but in many ways much better, backup personnel really added to his performance, and I would definitely go to see one of his concerts again. Adam interacted with audience well, and WECC is a nice cosy venue in which to see someone like Adam.

    Intimate, quirky and fun!

by katetome on 2014-11-16Arden Theatre - St Albert

Enjoyed the intimate setting of the Arden with Adam Cohen at the helm. What a night of good banter and song, relaxing and fun. Maybe a little more chatting than we like but every song was worth the wait. A great song master, great voice, great band.

    Fantastic...as always!

by MJC66 on 2012-10-27Trinity-St. Paul's United Church and Centre - Toronto

I've seen Adam Cohen before but had never seen a show at Trinity St. Paul's Church. It was the perfect setting for an initmate performance. The stage lighting made the venue feel cozy and warm and the acoustics were great. And, as usual, Adam and friends did not disappoint. It was an A++ of an evening.

    adam cohen with ash koley

by number1deb on 2012-10-25West End Cultural Centre - Winnipeg

ash koley was a strong opening act - fantastic harmonies, and well received by the crowd (always good to see a local act!!) adam. oh adam. he has the amazing gift of being able to sing while making love to every single person in the room - all the while making you feel as though his songs were written for you alone. he has clearly sat at the feet of the master, as leonard-isms are quite apparent in his own style. he arrived in wpg with one heart, but he left with mine in tow. fabulous show!!

A talent not to be missed!

by MCJiggyFly on 2012-10-25West End Cultural Centre - Winnipeg

Adam Cohen's fantastic voice and moving lyrics made this show one of my all time faves. He really set the mood with a dimly lit stage and a single hanging light that made you feel as if he was performing just for you. His fellow musicians on stage were amazing to watch as they traded instruments over and over again during the show. Mixing his beautiful love songs with a witty sense of humour on stage really made this show worth watching again and again.
