Good bang for the buck!!! I took the Metro and shuttle bus. It was very well organized.
This was the first time I went to see the Alouettes and the Redblacks. I hope this was not representative of the caliber these teams normally offer. The Alouettes apparently changed coaches during the week. Well, the coaches were obviously not the problem. The Redmen or the Carabins would have offered a better caliber. The Alouettes need a major shake up. Loosing is part of the game. One of 2 playing teams has to loose. But, at least try to offer some opposition and make the game exciting!
The game was great & energetic. Lots of fun, go alouettes!
The game isto really good. But if you take a down place is terrible to watch the game. And you can not enjoy the moment.
game was exciting , good crowd, beautiful night. loved the jet fly over at the start.
Percival Molson Stadium is a fantastic venue to watch CFl Football and the 2017 season opener against The Green Riders was a fantastic event. Made to order weather, 23 degrees in the 4th Quarter, no wind, loud crowd of Als fans and of course Rider Nation. During a stirring version of the National Anthem, the RCAF CF18 made its flyover and in true Top Gun fashion, "Negative Ghost Rider, the pattern is full", made a second unannounced flyover, complete with afterburners at exit. The halftime Cirque was visually stunning. The game was not polished, as you would expect for a season opener, but came down to the last play. Huge crowd stayed to the end and the walk down Mount Royal on the closed streets was easy, orderly and fun.
If you are a fan of the CFL, Percival-Molson Stadium is a must see place to watch a game. Nestled into the side of Mont-Royal at the beautiful McGill University, this stadium has a wonderful old school ivy league feel. Our seats faced the hillside with the university buildings and trees almost encroaching the field. The fans were great and enthusiastic. The metal bench seating and small video board is the reason for losing one star on the review.
Great game Great seats Only bad things was the ALS losted
Is way too expensive! The stadium is nice and the game was fun to wach, but 10$ for a can of budweiser is pure racket.
Good game, even though the home team didn't win. But what a beautiful stadium and locale! I doubt there is a nicer view anywhere in the CFL.
Being an American living in Montreal, I came to my first CFL game with an open mind. The crowd was great. Scenery with background alot better than Cincinatti Paul Brown stadium where on lower level you just see sky and stadium. I was on ground level behind goal post center and the view was great. Only drawback I found was cash only and I was late to game because the map to parking was wrong. One thing I did appreciate was the quick response when I emailed office to confirm if they took credit card or just cash. I got a reply before I even started put my cell down. All in all, now I'm thinking about buying season tickets for 2017.
A fantastic evening, the wheather was super, the crowd pleaser close to us was funny as hell. cheerleaders always putting up a good show, always smiling. It was Ben Cahoon evening and it was fantastic. Waht more can I say great seats great ambiance, and we kick azz what a score the boys sure were hungry for a Victory. And what a Victory it was. Other sports are boring to watch but football there is always action happening, and the fans are true fans. Had no more voice the next day lollllll.
This was my first CFL game Live, and it was great; I look forward to going again one day! Alouettes played a fantastic game!
Nice to have a football game in a cosy stadium downtown of Montreal, but the show is not as good as the US rules football. The game is going too slow, too many punts, coaches challenges take forever to get solved by the referees, the game takes so long to go on, it takes some of the interest out of it. The game simply had no rythm.
What an amazing experience watching the game. The atmosphere was electric and the fans where awesome. Sitting behind the Red Blacks bench added a whole different experience to the game.
Even though they lost, the Montreal Alouettes put on quite a show. The atmosphere, the giveaways, the 50/50 draw, all was great! Ordering tickets and parking online made me feel like a star, our parking spot reserved with an orange cone, just waiting for us. The weather cooperated, a beautiful sunny fall day. A great time was had by my partner, a birthday gift for him, and myself. We will certainly do this again.
Great match and great entertainment with the Cheerleaders at mid-break the schools gave a good performance.
Very good game. The AL'S played amazing. Beating the Stamps by double digits. I have been to several CFL games and they are always good.
Percival-Molson stadium may be considered a great location in Montreal but it's not really close to the subway at all and certainly doesn't compare to the location of TD Place in Ottawa for convenience or beauty. The muddy, icy slope to reach the gates at Percival-Molson was a hazard and I don't understand how this has not been addressed. Once inside, you immediately realized you are in an old, cobbled together venue that has seen better days. Concessions had minimal selections and poor quality food. Washrooms were very small and crowded. Stands were very old and our seats were frankly quite horrible. I was surprised that the stadium was only 2/3 full for a playoff game where the home team had a better than average chance at winning. The fans were what I would expect and did cheer the home team. All in all, a rather forgettable day and was expecting far more.
The Alouettes were too strong for the Roughriders. Now, we have to finish first place for the playoffs...Go Al's Go
