    Alvin and the Chipmunks awesome

by Joyful12345 on 2015-11-30Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The show was amazing my grand kids absolutely loved the show. It's to bad it wasn't advertised more lots of people didn't know it was in town. I had seen it on TV once and that was it, I'm sure it would have been full with a bit of advertising.

    Created Wonderful Memories!!!

by NanaVH on 2015-11-29Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I took my 4 year old granddaughter to the "big city" (we live in a town of 500 people) just to see Alvin & the Chipmunks! It was so wonderful to see the show through her eyes!! Her mouth dropped open, she stared transfixed, danced, jumped and just overall had an absolutely magical time!!! The show was great and got the audience involved - it "snowed" twice during the show, streamers were flying, and we were bombarded during the food fight scene with onions, nuts & mini burgers!! And having the Chipettes as part of the show was a wonderful surprise! It was awesome. The only thing I would find negative is the lack of enough "swag". They were lacking in many sizes of t-shirts, going from size 3 as the largest "toddler" size - then jumping up to size M youth size!! Very disappointing as of course, the majority of the little girls wanted the pink t-shirt with the Chipettes on it!

    Fantastic show for the kids

by Nicole005 on 2015-11-29Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I was unsure of what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. They had lots of interaction with the crowd and it was a very upbeat concert. Great night with my kids for their 1st concert.

    Thoroughly Entertaining !!

by MistIvan on 2015-11-27Northern Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I was a little worried after reading the one review I saw but this show was fun -VERY interactive and the children had a blast. From the songs to the amazing supporting actors it was non stop laughter. I looked around with all the kids dancing and even a few parents in the aisles. The snow effect was a hit and even during the intermission kept all the kids busy collecting the "snowflakes".From the littlest child to a few "older" Alvin fans everyone had a great time seeing the Chipmunks and the Chipettes.Meeting them was fun and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. Truly a fun family show

    a let down

    by Ben123 on 2015-10-07Massey Hall - Toronto

Poorly thought out and poorly done.Jokes were poor and kids of a younger age could not have made any sense of them. Children were passive through out. Very few (and unsuccessful) attempts were made to involve them in the show. One would think this is the main aim of a children's show: to involve the children. As soon as some clapping and participation begun, they went on to the next scene. As an example, towards the end, a few (three!) toy fruits were thrown into the audience. The chipmunks dialogue and songs are pre-recorded and played back making difficult to connect with the audience. At the intermission, we did not know whether this is indeed the break or the end. It was announced that it was a 10 minute break five minutes after the lights came on. The end was equally uninteresting and ambiguous. It the ticket price were 40 dollars, it would still have been too much.
