I would recommend this to anyone of any age. Our family enjoyed it very much - age 6- 45yrs "i loved the whole thing"
Everything from the theatre to the sets, music and of course the performers was top notch. We splurged and got very good seats in the Mezzanine, row C seats 109-112 (very close to the front of the mezzanie and in the middle) and were not disappointed. Spend the extra $ if you can to get great seats. The mezzanine is very steep but this allows for great views. I took my parents and 7 year-old daughter to see Annie on Broadway and wow was this a special day. The child actors are fantastic and the adults are such talented professionals. The fact that the audience was dominated by little girls and you could hear a pin drop during the play says it all. Children and adults alike were enthralled.
This was an unbelievably awesome show!! I took my mother and my daughter and it was by far the most amazing broadway show that I have ever been to!! It was spectacular!!
Excellent! Uplifting! Really a great show to see while in New York as the story is set there.
Being our first broadway Play we dint know what to expect. The Palace Threater was amazing. The cast and settings were eye catching. Throughly enjoyed the song and dance scenes. It was truly an memorable evening, would definetly see it again
I was so excited to see this show, and it blew my expectations out of the water. I would definitely watch it again, the entire cast was amazing and entertaining. Annie was a pleasure to watch and is an incredible actress. Jane Lynch was exactly what I would have expected as Miss Hannigan... Brilliant. She embodied the character amazing and really brought the production together.
The show was fantastic. The girls were amazing. The New York accents were were very distracting. Especially during the songs. Even people with real accents seem to lose them in song. The addition of the accents was unnecessary. Otherwise the show was fantastic and I would recommend it.
We went to see Annie as we thought our girls (10 and 13 years) would enjoy it. I was pleasantly surprised by the caliber of the production and how much both my husband and I enjoyed it as well! The set design was well thought out and quite impressive and the singing abilities of all the cast (especially the girl who played Annie) were awesome. The girls who played the orphans were all so engaging and talented. We thoroughly enjoyed this show and would highly recommend it.
Brilliant music and wonderful talented cast. Fantastic set especially in Daddy Warbuck's house. Lovely theatre.
