Good weather helped the good vibe..

by moviejcd on 2015-06-18Fort York: Garrison Common - Toronto

This is one of the easiest festivals to navigate, and one of the least imposing. You always feel like you have room to breathe, enough to eat, and you can get a beer in less than a minute wait. The bands themselves were solid, but the Saturday was better in my opinion. LOVED The War on Drugs and Alabama Shakes. The friend I go with is short and yet she can see the entire show from not far back. This was my third time at this festival and I will go again for sure.

    Fabulous Event !

I had no expectations of this festival before going. To my great surprise it was very well managed and had great food/drinks/art. Not sure de la soul was a great choice considering all the kids there but outside of that, Calvin Love, War on Drugs, Arkells, Alabama Shakes, and Marina and the Diamonds were superb. If tickets went on sale this week for Field Trip 2016, I would buy right away. This was AWESOME.

    Fabulous collection of amazing artists

Marina and the Diamonds took the festival over the top for us. Father John Misty was a wonderful surprise as was Dan Mangan. Rhye was uniquely brilliant and Hayden creates music as powerful now as it was twenty some-odd years ago. My Morning Jacket not the band for us but they seemed to put on a good show as well. Only sorry we couldn't have come both days....Alabama Shakes and The Arkells would have been fun to see.

Wicked concert!! Loved the hoolahoops, the "californian sign" that said "Field Trip" on it, and the ping pong tables for the kids!

Great location and setup. Would have enjoyed more Arts and Crafts vendors, other than that it was a perfect day!

Most well organized concert I have ever been to. Fantastic activities for kids. Great food truck options. No line ups for drinks, and the porta-potties were well stocked all day & night. Thank you for an incredible event!!!

Bands were great with decent set times! Amazing event! Organized very well, super easy to get around. Lots of access to food and booze with reasonable lines! Great location, can't wait for next year's lineup!
