These guys were really into it - as much as the crowd was! What a fun event - great music, great and intimate venue, very enjoyable. Very talented musicians. It's no wonder they have played with so many other artists. This was the second time we caught their act in a 2 month period and we wish we could it all over again next month!

by NanaBev on 2010-01-31Chandler Center On Tour Higley Center for the Performing Arts - GilbertRay Benson is an excellent entertainer - great singer and guitar player. The group is so polished and smooth. If you like Western Swing, this is the best group to listen to. We especially enjoyed Elizabeth McQueen, and Jason Roberts but they are all great musicians. We happened to be in Scottsdale for a holiday so actually we came all the way from Calgary to see them. Good luck at the Grammy's tonight.

by daver6 on 2009-10-31McPhillips Street Station Casino - WinnipegRay Benson's voice is still just as good as ever! The female singer (I think her name is Elizabeth) was also excellent. She did a great Patsy Cline, and sang "Bump Bounce Boogie" (from Texas Gold) with great enthusiasm. I've been a fan since the 70's, and have hoping to see them for years. The wait was worth it!
