Banff Summer Arts Fest Tickets

Good story, set, singers/actors. Acting was good. I would give it 3.5 stars.

My husband and I attended Lilian Alling the other night and loved it! The singing, of course, was top notch, but so were the sets, the acting, the movement and flow of the piece.... I was riveted by the plot. Thank-you for such a moving performance! The setting at the Banff Arts Center was perfect! We enjoyed our evening.

first up, George Leach, not even sure if that was right. if Stevie Ray Vaughn is up your alley check out this guy. cliche blues right out of the stevie fakebook. The Mongolian singers after where fantastic. A real treat. Than the banff Centre residency program performed two songs. They were fantastic, an absolute hightlight for the night. The headliner, can't remember her name. Music for Greybeards, i thought she was good but lacked in originality. Maybe it was because of I couldn't really hear her guitar. the last song she did however was enchanting. I think because she was using her traditional roots and using her voice. She wasn't relying on boring simple guitar riffs like her other songs. If your into Sass Jordan she's right up your alley.
