    by luv2teech on 2011-11-25Rogers Centre - Toronto

My daughter was almost 3 years old when we went in October 2011. She absolutely LOVED it!!!! She has loved Barney since she was about 2. She was dancing in the aisle and by the end of it she was trying to get on stage!!!! Great show!! Would highly recommend it to anyone!! Great show for the whole family!!

    not worth the money

    by mimi69 on 2011-10-24Rogers Centre - Toronto

unfortunately I purchased 5 tickets at $50 each in a spur of the moment decision....the show was ok, but we seen Barney at Ontario Place this summer with front row seats for free....we sat on the ground floor for this one. My 2 1/2 yr old girls got a bit bored after the intermission, and one actually fell asleep. No where for the kids to get up and dance...Entire venue was very over priced, including the $25 event parking which didnt even bring you into the Rogers Centre, but outside. Not enough food options open, no coffee for Parents....learned my lesson.... :(

I wasn't sure how my 20 month old daughter would react to meeting Barney and watching the 75min show... but I have to say, it was the best money I could have spent! She meet him, got pictures with him, danced , and even rushed the stage a few times. That day was truly priceless!! even I was dancing in my seat. The only complaint I have is that there was white tape instead of maybe a little fence to stop the kids from getting to close to the stage and talent.

My daughter was over the moon

    by MumaFrog5 on 2011-10-24Rogers Centre - Toronto

Overall it was a great show Inprovements i'd make are to have Barney use the whole stage he faced or went more to the front of the stage often forgetting kids on the sides. Another issue we had was that Barney came off stage and quickly walked by everyone in the first row GREAT for those in the front rows but kinda hard to a)keep your toddler from not running over there and b) hard to explain why they can touch him and she can't the flr tickets are all the same price so it's not like they paid a little bit more for him to come down there. As mom i'd rather him of stayed on stage. As for my seat location which may or may not differ on venue it was nice until they brought out the ballons for the decor and then we couldn't see the jumbo screen at the back of the stage which is a part of the show at different points. The sound we could hear it fine at some points the "strobe" type lights would twirl into your direction which kinda bothers the eyes. Overall i'm happy i did buy these seats insted of the cheaper ones that are farther back from the stage i did "fight" over which would be better and i'm glad i did go with the floor The intermission was good if you had kids that use the potty but with the show being right at nap the 15-20min break bored my toddler and she passed out 5 mins after barney came back on it be nice if they had the show offered around 10 am and then again around 2:30 3 since it is aimed at 1-4yr crowd As for my seat location which may or may not differ on venue it was nice until they brought out the ballons for the decor and then we couldn't see the jumbo screen at the back fo the stage which is a part of the show at differnt points. Overall I"m glad i got to take my 2 yr old. She was more then thirlled to see Barney so close i do hope he continues to tour so my 1yr old can see him eventually aswell
