Barra MacNeils Christmas Concert Tickets

The concert was fantastic. Will go and see them again!!

This family is very entertaining. Their voices blend well together. Lucy's voice is incredible. Each member seemed to play at least 2 or 3 different instruments. The Celtic dancing was something I truly enjoyed. I would definitely go see then Barra Macneils again.

We’ve been fans of the Barra MacNeills for ever. So we were so disappointed that the show was spoiled by poor sound management. The volume was far too loud. Why on earth does a folk band need to be loud? The result was that we couldn’t actually hear the music. Just noise. In particular, the songs were so distorted as to be incomprehensible. What a shame!

From the beginning until the end the evening was filled with pure joy listening to the MacNeil’s… Great performances by all of them, so much talent in one family… We loved the music, and their stories…. I would go again and again. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

The sound was a little high in the first half, but other than that, no complaints whatsoever. My husband and I enjoyed our first concert of this Christmas season. Thank you, Barra MacNeils, for a great evening. Hope the rest of your tour goes smoothly.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the Barra MacNeil's Christmas concert. Everybody there had huge smiles on their faces the entire evening. The brothers and sister, Lucy, sang beautiful harmonies and we especially enjoyed the Christmas songs sung in Gaelic. Lucy's voice is so pure and crystal clear and they are all incredible multi-instrumentalists. If they come again, we are going! The Barra MacNeil's are HIGHLY recommended by us and this show put us right in the Christmas spirit.

This was the first time seeing the Barra MacNeils. They were great! So very talented and a show I won't forget. This was also my first time at the Clarke theatre in Mission. The front row was too upfront as I was staring directly at a concrete wall and had to look up to see the artists. So next time I will pick seats further back. The theatre was great acoustics and a lovely size. Nice, helpful staff there.

Excellent concert. Made me feel homesick for the Maritimes. Solos by the female vocalist were lovely.

I have attended well over a dozen concerts by The Barra MacNeils, and have never been disappointed. Their Christmas concert has a wonderful mix of traditional season music, but also includes a few reels that keep the Celtic feel to the night. I was especially pleased to hear a few new songs that traditionally not been a part of their set. As always, their harmonies and talents on a wide variety of instruments are what makes the evening so memorable. Lucy's solos are AMAZING!! Just wish they would come to town more frequently.
