Bear's Halloween Howler Tickets

It was great to have a local band open first, and they were great. They really got the crowd ready. However, the 45 minute turnaround between the first band and the second band was a real downer. Then the second band played for about as long as the break. The setup for the final band was shorter, and then their set was long, so the show ended really well. DJ Qwake was great during the breaks.

Honestly no complaints, bands were good, wasn’t a wait to get in, easy to get drinks! Excited for next year 👌

We had a great time at the Howler. We loved that it took place at the River Cree as we were able to get a room and have access to restaurants on site before and after. The speaker sound was awful. It was so loud that all of the words sounded fuzzy/distorted. All of our ears ached something terrible when leaving my Brother in law had to leave earlier than planned due to the ear discomfort. An update to have sound more clear when loud would be amazing!

Drink lines arent long, bathrooms are always clean, venue isnt overcrowded so you are able to get in and out without waiting. Merch tables have enough room to move smoothly. Food served right outside hall. The Bear staff dont spend too much time chatting on stage which is great. DJs always keep the crowd dancing in between bands.

Loved all the music. They’re some of my favourite bands. However the sound in the venue was pure trash. Couldn’t understand a word. The Calgary show was 1000% clearer

I really liked Blackstone Cherry but Steel Panther wasnt good. Should have gotten somebody better and not so raunchy.

This year i won 3rd place in the howler contest by the bear!! Been going for 3 years!!! And i love the people and i LOVE the Costumes!!!

Loved the venue, alot of fun. Would be happy to go again.

It was a pretty good event with good bands. Great to see live music again. River cree is a long drive from the south east side.
