It was my first time to go to a Bellator night. It was alright to see how things are done behind the scenes. Fights weren't as good as usual but that's the way it goes.
Although it's my boyfriend that is really into MMA, I have found it to be a great sport we can watch together. Some may say that it is too violent, but they need to appreciate the amount of athleticism and training these people put into something they love so much. Bottom line is that both people know the risks and there are rules in place that help prevent injuries like they would get in a street fight. Guy or girl, you get into the fights and develop favorites just like any other sport...
Event was awesome. The only thing we have a problem with is thereis no alcohol aloud in venue!!! Any other MMA event outside Ontario u can drink!
The fights were great the show was great i would go again for sure - come back soon !!!! During the fight against Akihiro Gono - I yelled with my deep deep voice to the Champ Michael Chandler " Knock That Toyota OUT " the whole croud around us were laughing and at :57 of the first round he did knock him out !!
I would have to say that "all in all it was a good event". Most of the fights went as I would have expected with the exception of the POLISH HAMMER fight. I've noticed a shift in the Thompkins camp since his passing. I really hope they get back on the winning track. My respect to the Adrenaline/ Team Thompkins family... I will be attending more live events as long as they are within reasonable distance to me... Thanks to all the people involved in making events like this possible..
The fights themselves could have been better have seen lots of on signed fighters fight way better with more heart and skill I paid 100 bucks for my seats and could'nt see jack will go again next time bellator returns but will buy the cheaper seats and hopefully be able to see and enjoy more
pre card fights were great.....card fights were a little slow but good to watch...title fight went as expected but there was more action in the 2 fights in the stands...last couple of off card fights were the best
Expensive ticket, long drive to Windsor, followed by matches that went to the mat. No one in my section of expensive tickets could see the mat, nor could we see the screens. Although I was only three rows behind press row, it was impossible to see the mat even if we stood up so every time the fight went to the mat, we had to stand up and turn around to watch the big screens. The main event was 25 minutes of Askren trying to mount Lima on the mat. It looked like an old 1995 Ground and pound fight with very little pounding going on. I for one will never again pay for a fight ticket where there is no matchmaker to make sure the fights aren't garbage.
the audience and fights were boring. Fights were not great....maybe that is why the audience was sitting there not doing anything. We had great seats but you could not see the fights because the parts of the ring were in the way or the ref was in the way. We found ourselves watching the big screens. We could have done that at home and saved money.
