The epitome of a great broadway show

by TOMO on 2013-11-05Neil Simon Theatre - New York

Spectacularly theatrical with an unforgettable star turn by Norbert Leo Butz, this show is wonderful for anyone who loves a big, colourful romantic feel good musical filled with fun, great choreography, amazing costumes, set design and loaded with talented actors, singers and dancers. Also have a kleenex or two handy just in case as it may also affect the tear ducts as it did to the two ladies next to me.

From the minute the lead character hit the stage, he seized that production and made it fabulous! Wonderful music and lyrics, great dance numbers, funny, smart. We loved it.

Storytelling at it's best! I enjoyed the production. The special effects were spectacular and the scene changes were seamless and delightful. The acting, the singing, the dancing were all top notch. I would recommend it to any theatre lover. I'm inspired now to read the book.

    dissapointing

by MNOP on 2013-10-13Neil Simon Theatre - New York

The look and sound of the play was similar to a high school play. Repetitive music and forgettable lyrics.
