Maybe I am crazy but I was expecting him to sing some songs? He interacted a lot with the audience which is always nice but it does not make for a high priced ticket to see an artist and his work. I did laugh at the person who seemed to be "high"
There were four of us attending, and all four really enjoyed it. When bobby and crew came on stage, we could feel excitement in the air, as well as a calmnesss that was great.his voice sings, period. His highs and lows seemed so good. He handled the show well and kept it flowing and fun. Thanks bobby!
We came to enjoy his musical talent and there was definitely no lack of it. It's great when a talented person is also a good entertainer and interacts with audience, but they can can't forget the primary reason we are there. This concert was three-quarters goofing around and maybe one quarter his musical performance if that. We could have gone to a comedy club instead.
Our seats were terrific. But we were not informed there was a warm up band that would be on for an hour, then we had to do a standing clapping to get Bobby to come on as he did not appear on his own. I enjoy his voice and jokes but thought he would do more of his old stuff. I will see him again if he comes. After do a standing clapping to get him to come back on, he appeared and talked with the audience without his band present.
These vocal improvisers are at the top of their game. They’ve truly mastered their craft.
Well anything can happen when you are improvising right? Well that means you are supposed to be spontaneous and not controlling when you do that.
He is not only a great musician, but also a very entertaining showman. The show was interactive and dynamic. Some choreography was included too, super-modern and cool for all ages.
Excellent show! Never fails to amaze me. His interaction with the audience is always warm and funny. He is just a very talented showman who delivers every time.

Bobby McFerrin, as always, was great. Entertaining and fascinating, nice rapport with the musicians and audience. There were clearly some problems with the sound: the supporting singer didn't have any sound from her microphone at the beginning and later in the concert, the fellow playing the accordion - no sound - for a good part of the first song with that instrument. The vocals at the beginning were too quiet. It seemed like there hadn't been a sound check or the sound person was not competent.
