I'm a major fan but the band is not what it was...

by ChristinadWillow on 2018-06-12Canadian Tire Centre - Kanata

Jon has aged, was surprised to see him with grey hair. Unfortunately he has lost his voice as well, there were many many moments when that was obvious throughout the concert. Would I see him again? Yes because I'm a major fan but at $300 a pop, I'll think twice. Sorry!.

    Bon Jovi is classic!

by Funnygurl on 2018-05-23Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Since going to my first Bon Jovi concert in 1986, I have enjoyed every concert since. For the first time in 32 years I had floor seats!! Jon has certainly aged over the years (as we all have) however this concert it was more evident. His singing was often drowned out by the band, although he sounded clearer when singing his newer music and his singing often sounded strained. I can’t believe I’m going to say this ....but a little voice over would have carried him through. Nonetheless he put on an amazing show as always. The crowd loves them 30 years later. And I will continue to attend his concerts as long as I can!

Bon Jovi ... high priced karaoke evening

by Chantrygirl on 2018-05-21Air Canada Centre - Toronto

The sound wasn't great for this show. Have been satisfied with side of stage seats in the past but not this time ... the massive light columns that went up and down along with the lights that dropped from the ceiling non-stop during the show were extremely distracting and blocked a view of most of the stage most of the time. The energy level on the stage seemed very low ... with only the percussion guy, Evert, seeming like he was 'into' the show - and he was on the other side of the stage to us. It did seem like a high priced karaoke evening with the crowd louder than Jon Bon Jovi often. Not sure I'll spend money to see Bon Jovi live again. The band is different without Richie and everyone (me included) is getting older. Why was there not big screens at this show? Those little dinky very high screens looked like they belonged in a family room. Would have been nice to see a close up every now and again of any member of the band.

    Outstanding

by JennJon on 2018-05-21Air Canada Centre - Toronto

The show was simply amazing as always. The boys give their 100 percent and we enjoyed every single moment. I wish that the show could have gone on and on but of course that is not possible. Everyone of them gave a super performance. Thank you very much. Jon was fair about going to both left and right sides of the stage so his fans were happy. Thank you for that.

    Another Amazing Show

by Targa on 2018-05-19Air Canada Centre - Toronto

Bon Jovi puts on and will put on the best show you will see. I have seen them many times and they never disappoint. Have loved them for over 30 years and will continue to do so. This show was aweosme and I loved every minute of it. Loved that Jon came into the audience, that is always a bonus. This newest album has great songs and I am glad you showcased them along with your hits. See you next time and every time there after :)

    AMAZING

by AI1989 on 2018-05-19Xcel Energy Center - Saint Paul

Still going strong after 35+ years. Amazing song set list, 2 hours of classics, new hits and so on. Short window to put and perform all songs, Didn't do Wanted Dead Or Alive Or Always, but a amazing show nonetheless. Just amazing,

Bon Jovi was as fantastic as always

by Roanna on 2018-05-16Air Canada Centre - Toronto

I've seen Bon Jovi eleven times over the past seventeen years and they never fail to put on a fun show. Whether they're playing classic jams like "Shot Through the Heart" and "Wanted Dead or Alive" or new songs like "Roller Coaster" and "God Bless This Mess", they're enthusiastic and the crowd loves them. I liked the mini stage in the 100 levels where Jon Bon Jovi played two songs - including "Bed of Roses" during which he slow-danced with one lucky audience member - after walking through part of the crowd. There's a reason this band is still going strong after 35 years and hopefully they'll keep going as long as they're able!
