About

Although he started young, Bow Wow continues to succeed even after striking the Lil' from his name -- from albums like 2009's New Jack City II to his 2012 collaboration with T-Pain "Better," Bow Wow has displayed a level of maturity that belies his teenage beginnings. His live shows are a high energy affair, with a raw, stripped down vibe that makes the rapping (and him) the center of attention. Those lucky enough to get tickets will see Bow Wow work the stage from end to end, always engaging the crowd while delivering his signature rhymes. They'll also see more than a bit of swagger as Bow Wow often goes shirtless, showing off his many tattoos. The ladies won't mind that. Material from "Underrated," like the singles "Better" and "We in Da Club," show Bow Wow maturing and broadening his style as he works with collaborators, such as T-Pain, Lil Wayne and many others.

The Columbus, Ohio native was first discovered by Snoop Dog when he was just six years old and has never looked back. In 2001, he (as Lil' Bow Wow) debuted with the hit album, "Beware of Dog," and quickly followed up with the platinum-selling "Doggy Bag." Along with later releases and dropping the "Lil'" from his name, Bow Wow also ventured into acting, with appearances in "The Fast and the Furious" films, "Madea's Big Happy Family" and a recurring role in the HBO series "Entourage." He never neglected the music, however, as he released 2009's "New Jack City II," which touches on the crack cocaine epidemic, and began work on his long-anticipated "Underrated." Today, Bow Wow is still as big of a success as ever.

Bow Wow was a disappointment ...

by JUSTANNOYED on 2012-03-19Sound Academy - Toronto

The time that Bow Wow took the stage was great however, waiting 4 hours to watch him perform for only 45 minutes was hardly worth it. On the tickets it stated that doors would open at 7:30 p.m. and Bow Wow didn't make an appearance until midnight. For four hours, we painfully waited while watching no name rappers who were less than average and a huuuge bore. A few people were caught asleep and kicked out only moments before Bow Wow came on stage. Who can blame them? If it wasn't for my friends sitting beside me nudging me as security walked by, I would've fallen asleep as well. I would not recommend this event to anyone and would appreciate if I got my money back.....

We waited from 730pm-12am for Bow Wow to take the stage, There weren't any seats so we had to stand that whole time. From 8pm-10pm we were reduced to listening to a DJ, then from 10pm-12am we were tortured with 6-7 Amatuer Rap groups..If this is how Bow Wow does all of his concerts I surely will never attend one again...It was the most disappointing concert I've ever been too.
