BRANDI CARLILE IN CONCERT:
Alt-country sweetheart Brandi Carlile has crowned Billboard's Top Folk Albums chart twice since her 2005 debut, and it's easy to see why as she performs her heart-rending tunes in concert. Carlile is a world-class belter, and the perfect way her voice cracks when she goes big makes visceral tunes like "The Story" and "The Eye" all the more powerful. Country and folk are squarely in her wheelhouse, but she also dabbles in styles as diverse as rock, R&B, and blues, making for a dynamic concert experience anchored by her elegant songwriting and emotive voice. Whether she's performing songs from 2015's The Firewatcher's Daughter or making jaws drop with her soaring cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", Carlile never fails to impress ticket buyers with her poise, gorgeous voice, and good-natured stage presence.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Brandi Carlile was born and raised in rural Washington state, where she began performing with her mother and brother at age eight. She taught herself to play guitar, and by her teens she was penning her own songs and singing backup for an Elvis impersonator. By her twenties she was performing in Seattle's music scene with her twin brothers, and in 2004 she signed with Columbia Records. Her self-titled 2005 debut topped Billboard's Folk Albums chart, introducing fans to her powerful voice and heart-on-sleeve songwriting. She teamed up with legendary producer T Bone Burnett for her 2007 sophomore album The Story, with stellar results -- the album peaked at No. 10 on the rock charts and scored a breakthrough hit with its title track. Since then Carlile has toured extensively and released four more acclaimed albums including 2011's Live at Benaroya Hall with the Seattle Symphony and 2015's The Firewatcher's Daughter.

Brandi Carlile gave an excellent concert. It was spectacular from start to finish. Don’t miss her if she performs close to you.
Brandi was absolutely incredible. She was born to play music and perform. One of the best concerts I’ve ever attended.
Theater was beautiful, Brandi was amazing, however there was no band? Paying as much as we did for tickets I would have expected Brandi to be playing were her band, the twins. Very disappointed as a result and we would not have purchased tickets at the price if we would have known this. Promoters need to be more up front with the public when advertising their attractions. So disappointed.
This was my eighth Brandi Carlile concert, but first solo of her. What a treat to hear her voice without the rest of the band and other voices (which, btw, are awesome!). It was a completely different experience hearing her solo. She did not disappoint! IMO she is the best female singer/songwriter of the decade. Simply the best!!!
Brandi was authentic in her stories, her voice hauntingly beautiful. I cried a couple of times - not typical at concerts ! She touched me deeply as she did my husband ( he did not know of her). Great seats , great venue.
Absolutely amazing. Great entertainer, voice gives you goose bumps. Hope she comes back!
Great location to see a real talent. Seasoned singer / songwriter with incredible stories she tells along the way. Highly recommend her to anyone.
Brandi Carlile left it all on the stage. FANTASTIC show...great song selection and performance. Was a big Brandi fan before seeing her, and came away an even bigger fan. Show was just Brandi....her guitar...her piano...and that amazing voice. If you haven't yet bought your ticket for a future show, what are you waiting for? Buy. That. Ticket. NOW!!!!
From the walk in playlist to the last note! Such an incredible talent... worth every penny and more! She was funny and warm. Her voice even more stunning live. It truly felt asthough we were her guests at her home, hanging out; sharing her music and stories with us all.. such an amazing night! Can't wait to see her again.
