Excellent value for the price, especially getting the family pass which included a food voucher. Easy parking, shuttle, and entrance, followed by great golf with really close access to the players.
This is my forth year attending this tournament. I drive in from Ontario Canada every year. People are great to talk to, grounds are always well kept and I get to see all the golfers I love to watch on tv week after week. This year I brought my husband and two girls and they had fun too. One spent the day collecting autographs while the other followed Jordan trying to get him to high-five her. Sad not seeing Rory this year, but he will be back next year as will I.
Firestone Country Club is one of my favourite places to watch live golf! Course is amazing and this tournament features the worlds best players every year! Go Rory!!!! Can't wait to go back again!
What a great event, volunteers were friendly and accommodating, facilities such as food selections and washrooms could be improved. Except for Tigers ego and ignorance towards the fans the experience was awesome. Thank God for players such as Jim Furyk, Ian Poulter, and Lee Westwood to name just a few who were very accommodating to the fans and young kids.
Also Great volunteers and staff to help us and advise us about what was going on--espec. with the rain delay Sun Am aug 5. It was the 5th year that I have attended here with my daughter, who is now 16 yrs old . We've enjoyed each yr seeing the World's best--she is going into the 11th Grade and now wants to take up the game of golf.----a good place to spend time with the kids---because as they get into the teen yrs it happens less and less. ---
Great golf, was able to see the golfers up close. Great course and friendly atmosphere. Only complaint were the prices of food and drinks, and also could use canopies at the 9th and 18th greens.
Very organized and well run tournament! Everything from parking to concessions to the strength of the field of golfers was absolutely amazing! Very affordable vacation for PGA Golf enthusiasts. Took our two sons aged 18 and 13 and they enjoyed themselves as much as any vacation we have ever took as a family. Already purchased tickets for next year!
Great golf on a great course. Some excellent viewing at #10 green on the left and #18 green on the right; just enough shade to keep from baking!
the golfers are all the best in the world and they put on a show for us.--the volunteers and staff at the tourney were friendly and helpful---i had a very enjoyable time with my daughter -----and we did a lot of walking!
This tournament was recommended by Men's Health as a venue that allowed easy viewing of the players and a tournament that attracts all the big names. Absolutely true! Attended the Friday play, saw every big name from 10 to 15 feet around tees and greens. With a little course planning saw every player. Tiger, Leftie, Ernie, VJ etc. Good to see some of the top international players as well. Great facility, free shuttle from hotel, great course brochure. Will go again
