Need a lot of seating, preferably indoor as it is an outdoor winter event. The sound was really good and I was impressed as I'm an audio technician at one of Toronto's well known clubs. Could've used more selection of music and a better layout. I noticed we spent more time stuck in transition and the dome kept ponding and dumping ice water on patrons as for the slush, well it is Canada don't go to outdoor winter events and complain about weather. If it didn't snow this year unlike last year, I'd recommend still checking into snow machine rentals. When we left we found out that event coordinators neglected to inform local cabs of the event making it next to impossible to get a cab. All in all we live and learn, keep pushing and spread out stages and we can create a 1st class show.

Wolfgang Gartner Was worth having wet feet!

by ZDitto on 2014-02-04TD Echo Beach - Toronto

The Brrrr! Winter Music Festival was an incredible experience, to be with that many people, outside, in the winter and the snow, dancing and having a blast! It's just not comparable to anything else, it felt magical, especially since it snowed for the entire event! The only downside to this picturesque atmosphere was the result of lots of people moving in a big open space with lots of snow on the ground.... SLUSH! Everywhere! My feet were soaked for the entire concert, not that it bothered me since I layered up and there were tonnes of people heating the area, but the crowd-surfing, jumping, and dropping things made for less then ideal dancing parameters, as the ground quickly became a slurry of water, slush, ash, dirt, and dropped items (from glowsticks to full coats). But that is the only complaint I have, perhaps in the future, It would be smart to put down some boards or something on the ground to keep the party a little more alive.

    Cold, wet but amazing!

by love2party on 2014-02-04TD Echo Beach - Toronto

The artists were amazing! I thought there would be more warming stations... Since it has snowed that day, there was a pool of water around the only fire going. You couldn't get your toes in there to warm up. Also, it should be a 18+ event. Not 16+.... It's sad to see these little kiddies running around all wacked.

    Brrrrr Music Festival was Beautiful

by Rubzzz on 2014-02-04TD Echo Beach - Toronto

The only thing that was bad about it, was the slush all over the venue, my toes felt like they were gonna fall off by the end of the night, but the event was so amazing that i forgot about my toes for a bit and danced it off.
