The CMA Awards is Country Music's Biggest Night™, hosted in the heart of Music City! The first "CMA Awards Banquet and Show" was held in 1967. The following year, the ceremony was broadcast for the first time - making it the longest running, annual music awards program on network television. The CMA Awards have aired on ABC since 2006.
Each year, The CMA Awards nominees and winners are determined by the industry professional members of the Country Music Association, which when established in 1958, became the first trade organization formed to promote an individual genre of music. All balloting is tabulated by the professional services organization, Deloitte.

The show started off with a lot of laughs, Carrie & Brad did an amazing job. The music was why I was there, and it did not disappoint. The sound was great, and my seat vantage point was also excellent. The people asround me were all friendly, and everyone was taking pictures for everyone else.
I was so thrilled to be a part of the awards show! Most of the performers were great! Not too thrilled with Sugarland or Reba, but the rest were unbelievable, especially Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum. I have watched this show for years from my living room and was so excited to actually be there live, a great time I will never forget!
