    Caillou- Greatest Skate of All

by Tobeannounced on 2010-12-22Hamilton Place Theatre - Hamilton

My daughter enjoyed the production. I thought it flowed well for an audience of an average age of 4 years old. The facility is great. Parking is simple getting in and out is a breeze. II would recomend this show to anyone with kids that like Caillou.

For the price of the tickets, the performance was very short and really not much in keeping with the show on television.

Thought it was short for the amount of money we paid for the tickets. Compared to other shows we have taken the kids to it this just wasn't as good.

    Caillou was very good

by GramD on 2010-12-21Hamilton Place Theatre - Hamilton

The show was very well done. It could have been another 20 or 30 minutes longer but the children did enjoy it. Wish ticket prices for small children were lower.

My 3 year old absolutely LOVED this show! She has been asking daily if we can go back and see Caillou again! She stood and sang the Christmas carols with Caillou and friends and was full of excitement! 100% Recommend this show to all the little kiddies out there!!

    Irratating....thats the word

by Notagoodtime on 2010-12-17Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

First the fact that it started 20 minutes late sucked...It went for 25 minutes and then a 20 minute intermission(unnessary since everyone got snacks beforehand) but I guess its all about the money. Then it went for 20 minutes after the UNNEEDED INTERMISSION. Second It seemed to us that the audio was just a recording....therefore the actors were just doing the motions. It didn't captivate my son at all...he is 3 an loves Caillou...all he wanted to do was leave...kept saying I don't like Caillou. My wife and I stayed as we payed good money to see Caillou....NEVER AGAIN. Not and I mean NOT WORTH IT!!!!! We drove 1 hour to get to the Sony Centre...showed up 30 minutes early...purchased some snacks...took our seats....and it went down hill from there. In total about 4.5hours of my life we'll never get back.

    Could have done more

by Brightside on 2010-12-09Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

My son kept asking about Clementine and later mentioned how the grandparents were not present. I think these important characters could have made an appearance at the "Great Skate". I felt the set was underwhelming. I was expecting a little more excitement for the "Great Skate" after the intermission. Overall, my kids enjoyed it and that is what is important.
