A little unorganized and behind schedule. Vip ticket holders were made to stand outside until 9 when the concert was supposed to start at 8. Great turn out in the end though. Calvin is amazing. A must see!

    Totally disappointing.

For $90 a ticket, this was a waste of money. Calvin didn't speak or spin any of his own music until after he'd been on stage an hour and a half. It was also obvious that he didn't communicate with the DJs that preceded him, because he re-spun two of their songs. Seriously, of all the music in the world, you couldn't come up with anything different? Sad to think that you could grow so far from being hungry and actually WANTING to live a musical life that you would just phone in a performance like this. If I'd only paid $25/ticket, I probably wouldn't be complaining...but for such a "big" name, the show was lacklustre and unoriginal. Also, Calvin didn't sing - I wonder if it's emasculating to spin a recording of your own voice knowing full well your audience paid to here you actually sing it live. Uh..."live" music? I'll never see him again.

    This was fun

Calvin Harris' set was quite similar to his iTunes set, however he still did a very good job and played to the crowd quite well. He ended poorly and should have done an encore.

The venue was perfect. The artist magnificent. The sound electrifying. Loved the house DJs and offcourse Calvin!! The sound system is amazing and so is the lighting and the pyros.......this comes from a sound and light engineer!

Ticketmaster times were all different. Tickets said doors at 9, while the site said 9 pm but the event info on the box at the right of the screen said doors at 10 and show at 12. I got there at 1030 and the show was well under way by then. Sound Academy is a crappy small venue but it was an amazing show regardless.

Amazing show, but severely packed. Sound academy is kind of like a hallway very narrow and unless you're at the front or really good at weaving through a crowd you most likely won't get a good view of who's playing.

I will never see Calvin Harris perform ever again.

    by xoxo123 on 2012-09-30Sound Academy - Toronto

Besides feeling like Summer's End was an all-ages event, Calvin Harris did not come on until 4 hours after the event started. The event started at 9 pm, but Harris did not perform until 1 p.m. That is just plain ridiculous as he was the one headlining the event. Not only did my friend and I feel as if we were shafted on his performance, we feel like this event was a complete sham! Calvin Harris should respect his fans and give us a real performance. Extremely disappointed with the short set he played. After this event, it shows what kind of performer he is and I will no longer support him.

    Calvin Harris was awful.

by hales47 on 2011-07-04Tequila Night Club - Saskatoon

Not only did Calvin come on extremely late, but we met him briefly prior to the show. He was arrogant and didn't have the time of day for us. When on stage he didn't speak to the audience at all. He had low energy and looked unhappy to be there. He only played 2 of his own songs and actually played a couple songs that the opening dj had already played. It was extremely disappointing and I would never spend money to see him again.
