The show brought back a lot of memories of watching the Carol Burnett show! Truly fun and lots of laughter.
Ms. Burnett did not disappoint. She was as genuine and caring as always. Her connection with the audience has not dimmed, and I think the only people who may have felt cheated were those who couldn't ask their question because there were too many to fit into one show. The NAC was also fantastic: I was with two very senior and mobility-challenged women, and the NAC took great pains to ensure we made it to our seats comfortably. And because of the type of people who want to see Carol Burnett, the people in our row were equally accommodating.
Carol Burnett was as funny as ever. Great show.
I purchased 2 tickets for a birthday present. I was told it was the best birthday present ever! Carol never failed to charm, thank and appreciate everyone she's worked with and the audience. Seeing Carol was on my bucket list of people I wanted to see. At 84 yrs of age she showed the same energy and hilarious sense of humour that has followed her and will continue to be her legacy even if she lived to 200 yrs of age. Amazing entertainer! At the beginning they announced that Carol would be available after the show for pics but never announced it, and she left the stage.
She's a frickin' legend! Who doesn't LOVE Carol?! Funny all the way through!
Was wonderful to see and listen to Carol Burnett. A very enjoyable evening with lots of laughter. Wish her shows were still on and could continue forever. She is such a great entertainer. And she had the greatest cast on her show.
Going to see Carol Burnett was truly a dream come true. I never thought I'd get to be in the presence of one of my childhood idols, and there she was! I also got to participate in her "question and answer" format to her show. What a thrill! I wish I could do it again. Unfortunately, the show was soooooooooo short and I thought the price for the ticket was too expensive given the length of the show. I know I should practice Buddhism, because I'm suffering from wanting more! Lol! Hooray Carol!
Wow what a Grand Lady. She is a funny lady, a great lady. Brought back many good memories.
Perhaps I expected too much but I was disappointed in the show. I had a balcony seat which cost me $115 and from where I was sitting the top of the screen where the clips from her show were shown was cut off. I had hoped she would do a bit of performing but she only answered questions from the audience. She started at 8:10 and finished at 9:30 pm. I left feeling underwhelmed. I did like three of her stories but most of what she said I already knew.
There just wasn't any show.....she asked questions,as she did in her tv show. Did some reminiscing and showed a few clips.....nothing new or even bloopers, not even any of her best stuff. Just plain disappointing.
