Ok show but for sure should be done outside not enough place for the truck to give you a good show. They did what they could with the space would be a really good show on 4 time the space they had
The show was excellent. The only downfall was that you couldn’t understand one word that they said on the mic when you’re sitting on the second level, it was just a bunch of noise ,they really need to do a sound check before their performance because if the audience can’t make out what they’re saying, then they’re not getting the response from the audience that they’re looking for other than that it was fantastic
Monster spectacular is an awesome event i highly recommend for families to attend. 1 thing if i may suggest is having it at the fair grounds so the trucks can have more room to do stunts.
Myself and my 2 children - age 6 & 14 My 6 year old (M) very much enjoyed it, myself and my 14 year old (F) enjoyed it... But the space is very small for such big trucks, resulting in the show being very very repetitive (same "stunts" over and over) 100% take ear plugs with you, or they sell them at the event as well. We were up near the top - so furthest away from the trucks themselves so we didnt find the fumes bothersome. Not to say we couldnt smell them, we could, but it wasnt overpowering. Additionally the seats themselves at the Leons center are horrible, very small, and very uncomfortable.
The greet the drivers was interesting. Not sure if it's worth an extra $20 per person. Money grab. The ventilation was very good. Wish the whole venue was longer. The announcer knows how to hype the crowd. Overall great show.
Very good experience. My only tip would be that events provide toss out ear plugs for the kiddos. There were SO many kids trying to cover their ears because they didn't have headphones and it's very loud of course.
The trucks themselves were ok but there is a significant lack of room on the arena floor only allowing a very short run for car crushing. The BMX and motocross bikes were by far the best part. Without them, the rating would have been a 2 star.
This was my first time at a Monster Truck Show and I was disappointed. I expected a light show and maybe some pyrotechnics to go along with the seeing the trucks crush things. What I got was a show under white light. This was a complete money grab. Even the MC seemed like one of the crew who drew the short straw. Lesson learned .
The monster truck spectacular event it self was a great family friendly and fun experience and we really look forward to seeing more shows at other venues. The Canadian tire center itself was an absolute nightmare. The parking and traffic controls out side the venue are down right dangerous and absurdly disorganized and once in the building things do not improve. Aside from one or two pleasant people the majority of the staff are dissgruntled, disrespectful, and dismissive of any questions. I missed the middle third of the show purely due to staff negligence. As a warning, if you are a person with a physical disability which is not blatantly obvious you will likely be subjected to discrimination by staff.
It was good could have been better on the pi passes. Very expensive venue.
We really enjoyed the show the only thing it was a little long to start and the transfer between the monster trucks and the dirt bike but overall we really enjoy we have an autistic boy and he also enjoy
I purchased two tickets for my husband and son, as a father-son date! According to their raving reviews, it was one amazing show!
The event itself was a lot of fun. It was easy to get in and find our seats. However, the fact that you can't bring in a bottle of water and then they charge you $6.00 for a regular size bottle - I found that ridiculous. The rest of the experience was great :)
I think they did the best they could trying to drive a bunch of massive trucks around a hockey rink. I was hoping they would take down the first level of seats to have a larger surface to drive around with. So the "show" was basically monster trucks going around in a small circle. Good part was the motorbikes since they don't need as much room.
This was a great event, went with my 5 year old and wife. The only downside is that I think our venue was a bit small for these massive powerful trucks, they are extremely load and noise canceling ear muffs are a must (could purchase on site). This is a must see event, if we go again would look way the VIP pass for the meet and greet
It was awesome! The whole family loved it! Definitely being ear plugs/noise cancelling headphones haha I would 100% go again!
We got VIP because kids wanted to see the trucks and it was worth every penny spent!! Kids had a wonderful, drivers were very nice! Couldn’t have asked for a better time!
Amazing show would go again if it came back to Ottawa
Half of the event was just the announcer that never knew when to shut up.wanted to see more of the monster trucks driving & way less killing time by the announcer
