About

Iron Maiden are one of the most formative bands to establish the heavy metal genre in the ’80s. Formed in 1975 in East London, the band underwent several personnel changes before releasing their self-titled debut in 1980. Iron Maiden’s sophomore effort, 1981’s Killers, was the first to chart in the U.S. and marked the final release with lead singer Paul Di'Anno. With the installment of frontman Bruce Dickinson, Iron Maiden released their breakthrough 1982 album, The Number of the Beast, which reached platinum certification, introduced two staples to the band’s catalog with the title track and “Run to the Hills” and kicked off a 10-year run of releases to land in the Top 40 on the Billboard 200, including their 1983 follow-up Piece of Mind and 1986’s Somewhere in Time. Dickinson departed in 1993, but returned in 1999 to cement the current lineup with bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris; guitarists Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers; and drummer Nicko McBrain, along with the band’s long-standing mascot “Eddie,” whose skeletal figure has graced the cover of nearly every release and become a signature of their live performances. Iron Maiden reached a new level of mainstream success in the ’10s, winning their first Grammy in the Best Metal Performance category for their 2010 single “El Dorado,” while 2010’s The Final Frontier and 2015’s The Book of Souls both earned No. 4 placements on the Billboard 200, marking their highest-charting albums at the time.

    Amazing experience

by MaidenJapan on 2023-10-05Rogers Arena - Vancouver

This was an amazing concert. The staff at Roger's Arena were incredible. So friendly and helpful. We entered on the 300 level and a nice lady named Cathy walked us to floor entrance !! Wow. The concessions staff were brilliant as well. And the show was spectacular! Great sound and visuals. I'll be back to Roger's Arena. Up the Irons!

    Amazing

by Ed on 2023-10-05Rogers Arena - Vancouver

The set list wasn't perfect but they never are. Bruce's voice was to be expected, but considering the bout with throat cancer he did pretty well. I know some people didn't get to hear their favs, but I got to hear a lot of mine and Alexander the Great was a surprise! Also everyone on the floor were mad respectful and not rowdy. Appreciate that!

    Brilliant concert

by SuperG on 2023-10-05Rogers Arena - Vancouver

Brilliant concert. Enough with the smoking weed people, there were lots of children there. I thought Rogers arena was a non smoking venue? Iron Maiden didn't disappoint - amazing as ever. 10/10

After Motley's Debacle, It was a breath of fresh air with Bruce! His voice was excellent! They did almost all of my favorites. Alexander the Great was a particular pleasure! The new album stuff was also amazing. Another Top top-notch show from this epic band!

    Awesome Metal

by Razthedoctor on 2023-10-05Rogers Arena - Vancouver

They were unreal. Great showmen! For their age, incredible energy. Never a big metal fan, but these guys could get me there. The only thing at Rogers Arena , is the seats suck. We're crammed in that place like sardines.

    Not so good honestly

by InsomniumBR on 2023-10-05Rogers Arena - Vancouver

I was expecting more musics that I know, it lacked infrastructure too (screens, etc). A7X was in the same venue and it was so much better.

    Beasted by the Best

    by Beasted1 on 2023-10-05Rogers Arena - Vancouver

As usual, you get more than you paid for from the overlords of metal. Seriously, nothing better than to see talented musical maniacs rock it and give us an escape from the ugly real world. It was a pleasure seeing the band take pleasure in what they do.

    by m0narka on 2023-10-04

who know Iron, knows it's Iron... it's always a great show. Set list is not as good as the the last tour, but the band itself make up for it. whenever they are around, I'll be there.

    worst seat ever!!!

by Patti on 2023-10-04Rogers Place - Edmonton

I was seated next to an individual who barely fit in the seat and was heavily intoxicated. Though he did apologize for his behavior it made the concert not as enjoyable. From causing seat discomfort and striking my shoulder repeatedly while sleeping the abuse continued throughout the concert. Not to mention the individual behind me that dumped half his Heineken beer down my shirt. He too stated he was "embarrassed". Didn't apologize just stated his feelings. This was the worst concert I have ever attended. Bruce Dickinson and the rest of Iron Maiden however put on an incredible performance to which I appreciated their talents.

    Great Show

by Skinny 72 on 2023-10-04Rogers Place - Edmonton

Overall, it was a great show. The opening band, Atreyu, really got the crowd going. Everything started on time. The stage show was quite a bit smaller this time around but still good. Would have been nice for them to play more of their classics but hard to play them all right.
