Cesar Millan=Excellent Show! Location=Never Again!
by andr0110 on 2013-01-03CE Centre - OttawaI was excited to be able to go and see this show with Cesar Millan; and it was a great informative and exciting show to see. However I was very upset prior to entering/viewing the show. Purchasing my tickets through National Geographic Presale, then going to the location to find out the display for which line I was to be lined up in was horrible. I had to go through 3 lines. Note: No signs present so this is my experience. First was standard line up, was in general tickets line = wrong line; was informed to go to opposite far side to 'claim' correct tickets. Go in line, then received new tickets (awhile ticket handler explained the issue of seating; however all tickets were just laid on the table in bunches or 2, 3, 4, etc...and they just handed me a set of two together tickets. I informed I hope this is where I was wanting to seat as I initially purchased my tickets in center column at mid/far back section. They informed me these tickets were in a even better/closer spot. After receiving these tickets I expected I was able to just walk in from there to low and behold I had to get into another lineup just to get those tickets 'checked-in' another separate line from the general line-up and the ticket exchange line-up. Upon FINALLY getting into the event zone, I go to my seating area to then again low and behold my tickets are no where near where I had my initial tickets purchased. I was on the farthest left column, luckily only 3-4 seats from the walking isle however just the same distance back in the column maybe a tad further than my initial purchased tickets. Also a side note to the seating area, Ottawa Convention Center is not a very good location for this or any type of show that involves 'seating style'. The chairs were standard 'hall or reception' chairs, too close together to one another and not all the same. Seems like luxury padded chairs from the first 60% of rows, then plastic 'dinky' fold-up chairs for the back 40%. They were not set in good distance from other people attending so space was tight (even for myself I'm a average/standard size person). Most people slid/moved their chairs towards the walking isles for more space which was a annoyance and unsafe.
