Chantal and Raine have a wonderful, intimate performance of songs they’ve written together, some of her songs, some of his with OLP, and other covers. The energy between them was wonderful, with lots of banter, audience engagement, and humour. A definite hit!
Loved the intimate feel of the venue and concert vibe. It was extra special that Rowan Maida opened the concert and that it was only his second live performance. I look forward to seeing what other music this talented young man creates. Thanks for the wonderful night. I will cherish it always.
There were a few hiccups at the beginning such as not being able to be let in through the app alone and having to go to the kiosk and print the tickets manually (seems counter intuitive to needing the app in the first place). We were still able to score front row seats! The opener was great - very inexperienced but it added to his charm, and his talent was undeniable. Chantal and Raine had great banter together they had us in stitches between songs. I would have thought they would have played more of their hits I was a little disappointed when they big ones weren’t played but all in all a great show!
It still blows me away that Chantal’s voice and talent is stronger than it has ever been. I really appreciated that she sprinkled in new and Christmas songs but played EVERY. SINGLE. FAVE song I have ever loved. And better than ever. I last saw Chantal perform in Edmonton around 7 years ago. I was not disappointed.
I've been listening to Chantal Kreviazuk's music since I was 12, and this is the first chance I've had to see her perform live! It was such an intimate show; how she kept talking to the audience, and playing songs that we shouted out to her! Her voice is so amazing! I could've closed my eyes and sworn I was listening to a studio-produced album, but it was live! What an amazing show! And then, after the show, when she was signing autographs and taking pictures with people, she pulled me close for a picture that I'd been wanting for 25 years! I've been to many concerts in my life, and, before this, Lilith Fair '99 was the best, but now, this was definitely the best concert I've ever been to!
The show was very enjoyable, however we went to watch her perform. I’m not paying money to listen to her political views on guns, violence and BLM. I can recall seeing her perform years ago at the Winspear and she did something similar. We go for the music and not political views.
Very talented lady, my husband and I really enjoyed the show. Would go again and would recommend her show to anyone :)
The concert was going great till she started whining about the verdict of the rittenhouse. Next time shut up so people that are having fun can continue too. Leave that stuff for twitter.
Chantal is an amazing singer and piano player. She entertained with ease and went way beyond her performance time. Kept the audience engaged. Loved her!
Best singer/songwriter and storyteller that I have ever seen. Wish the sound was better, but it was good enough and understandable given the room. Comfortable seats. Many people were not observing the mask mandate which was concerning. 5 stars because nothing is perfect and within that, there are magical times that will never be forgotten. This was one of those.
