    Bodom is Best!

by KissingtheShadows on 2014-02-19Sound Academy - Toronto

Children of Bodom never disappoints. I have made it a habit to attend every show they have played in Toronto since the Unholy Alliance Tour in 2006, and they just keep getting better! It's great to see that COB has been headlining more Canadian shows in the past couple years and I am really looking forward to their next headlining event here in TO. Alexi Laiho is no doubt one of the greatest metal guitarist of all time. <3

    Good but...

    by Stc139 on 2012-06-26Sound Academy - Toronto

I really liked that they played a lot of the older songs, but even that cannot help Alexi's deteriorating vocals. And nobody really seemed to be enjoying themselves on stage. The keyboardist in particular, who never once looked at the crowd. Never Once

Show was good, Revocation killed it and Eluveitie was also enjoyable. Children of Bodom were great, but I feel like the sound could have been mixed better. It was hard to make out a lot of what was going on.

    Bodom is amazing!!

by alccode on 2012-02-29Sound Academy - Toronto

What can I say. Another fantastic show. The only downside was the knowledge that they won't come again for a while. But at least they make an effort to come to Toronto fairly regularly, say once or twice a year, unlike some other "big" bands like Dimmu Borgir (where are you guys??). Laiho and the gang were awesome, in fine form and tip-top shape. The venue energy was amazing, the people really into it and energetic (especially in the front). Would go again in a heartbeat. The next day, I wished they were playing again!!

    Bodom was Intense

by Boherm on 2012-02-28Sound Academy - Toronto

From the second they stepped on the stage and started with "Sixpounder" it was a non-stop ridiculous show. The set list was great and the mosh was heavy. The sound academy is always a good venue for a great metal show.

    Awesome

    by joemontana77 on 2012-02-28Sound Academy - Toronto

All three bands were great. Ive been to the sound academy about a dozen times; its not spectacular, but you get used to the venue. All three bands had excellent live sound up near the front of the stage, great presence, and i would recommend them all

    Another Awesome Bodom Show

    by Twist3dMetal on 2012-02-28Sound Academy - Toronto

Eluveitie was awesome, one of the best live performances I've seen. Wished they had a longer set. Bodom is just amazing as always, technical and perfect sound check. Threat signal was sweet to see for the first time. And he'll there we're imaginary chalices and dragons with tits there!
