The music was good but the decibel level was ridiculously high. When I have to yell at the person sitting across from me at the same table and she cannot hear me or me hear her, it is too loud.

I was delighted when my eye caught a listing for Chris Duarte at a venue called the Rhythm Room on December 3rd, the night before we headed back to cold, cold Canada. Wow, what a fantastic show! Loved all the tracks off Chris's new release "Infinate Energy" so appropriately named, but especially "Sundown Blues". It was great to hear and see Chris and the band in such an intimate setting. We rarely have a chance to see our favorite artists in such small venues in Canada. Missed Chris at the Saxon when I was in Austin, so this was so perfect The man is simply amazing on guitar and he rocked the house! Chris, thanks for the humorous banter with the audience and for being so damn personable and signing my DVD copy for my bro's birthday. He'll be damn disappointed he missed your show so here's hoping you come see us in Calgary sometime!
