    Excellent educational and motivational talk

I heard Chris talk in Edmonton. It was an excellent talk that kept me and the audience of 2500 spellbound for the entire talk. I took my fifteen year old son and he also really enjoyed it. go and see Chris Hadfield, you won't regret it.

Was more like a TED history lecture on Canada

    by Rebecca2010 on 2017-05-22Orpheum Theatre - Vancouver

I've been to see Chris Hadfield on another occasion that was A LOT more entertaining and interesting. My friends and I were really surprised to arrive at this 2017 cross-Canada event to find out that our tickets essentially paid for a 2.5 hour TED talk on Canada's history and geology and potential future. Yes, what he talked about was educational, but certainly NOT an event you want to take your children to and NOT an event that you'll be entertained at. It played out like one of my first-year university lectures on the history of Canada's geology and people. Chris Hadfield's humour and occasional guitar song lent more interest to the event.
