lots of fun and energy. really engaged with the crowd. Christina Perri was so jumpy all night and she was just have loads of fun.
In my 37 years of concert going i imagine i have seen in excess of 300 shows. Christina Perri is a top 10 show. Her voice is amazing, she knows how to keep a show moving and the band is fabulous.
She was awesome. Wife loved the show and her voice.
If you haven't heard of BIRDY - look her up, check her out. Christina was amazing. I can't wait for her to come back so I can experience her live again!
I saw Christina Perri for the first time Monday night in Toronto. She was flawless! I swear she sounds more perfect live then recorded. She is the cutest thing and plays with the crowd. She sang all our favourites and most songs from her new album. The band is really good too. I would definitely see her again when she comes back no matter the venue.
The show started 15 minutes late because they had to wait until everyone in line got in. You have General (non-)Seating, people are going to line up around the block. If you are trying to get a full house inside before the start time, 30 minutes isn't going to cut it. Danforth Music Hall error. Birdy is an exceptionally talented artist. I'm so glad that she was the opener for Christina, because I was waiting for the day when she would be local and it came sooner than expected. I had considered buying tickets for Christina Perri but made the commitment because Birdy was added. Christina Perri was great. She showcased mostly her new material. I think the audience would have wanted a couple more songs from the older album. I was disappointed that when she split the audience into three to participate, she said, "and up there can sing along too", completely eliminating the balcony patrons from her concert. Her material was great ... even what was new to me. 30 minutes of Birdy, about 90 minutes of Perri.
