    Best show ever!!!!

by Beatlemaniac on 2012-02-21Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I really enjoyed this show. The band was amazing. They played everything perfectly. The orchestra was also really great. I, as a trumpet player, would love to join the symphony orchestra. One thing that I noticed right away was that Tony Kishman, the one playing the role of Paul McCartney, was playing right handed! That's okay though, because they were all so terrific!!

Classical Mystery Tour was just that - classical!

by Ecky11 on 2012-02-12Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

It truly is amazing to hear the Beatles classic with an actual symphony. If you are a Beatle fan (and who, in their right mind, isn't?) to hear the music live like this.

    Failed to deliver

by MacPlay on 2012-02-11Sony Centre - Toronto

We saw the Beatle tribute band at the Sony Centre on Feb 9, 2012 and found the performance to be average. Unfortunately, the Sony Centre does not mark their seating plan correctly as we had orchestra row DD seats which turned out to be 1st row with the speakers right in our faces. Having seen the production Rain three times we were expecting something similar but Classical Mystery tour failed to deliver. Technically, the music was good, although we could have sworn they missed a few verses in a couple songs, the production was just basic. The Kitchener Waterloo orchestra was the high light adding the right tones when necessary and participating in many of the songs. The cast portraying the Beatles kept referring to themselves as the "drummer" and the "guitar players" which we found odd because they did dress in Beatle period dress for each segment. The band failed to get the audience involved other than the ocassional clapping like seals until the encores when the audience finally was invited to stand and dance. Thats when it was good, but sadly 2 hours too late.

Three encores say it all. It took me by surprise. I thought it would be good but I was blowin away. If you love the Beatles and even if you don't, I believe you would like this very much.

    Classical Mystery Tour ROCKED!

by shebee on 2012-02-11Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The combination of the band members and the orchestra was incredible! The Beatles songs really need the background music and it was perfectly recreated on stage. This was -definitely a must-see show. The singing was right on tune - it was almost as if you could close your eyes and think you were at an actual live Beatles show!
