The reviews we had read about Buika made us wondering is she really that good as the reviews had been proclaiming - the performance was better and we enjoyed the entire performance. We are looking forward to next time we will have an opportunity to visit her show.
It is a different style of music that catches your attention. The rithm is contagious, and Buika is friendly with the crowd.

She certainly has a voice and puts passion into her singing. Her two musicians were excellent. However it looked as if she was drinking alcohol on stage and the f bombs she often dropped and her decreasing decorum was not appreciated.
her foul language from the stage was really inappropriate. her singing at times was shrill and shouting. she was quite drunk or stoned. some of her songs were carried out effectively and beautifully, others were rants and shouts.
We were at a concert of Buika last Friday and it was something truly exceptional!!! I was saying WOW numerous times during the show. She is definitely something out of this world - I loved every minute of her performance from the start to the end! BRAVO BUIKA!
We basically went to see Lila and she gave an amazing performance. We wish her show will last longer. Excellent musicians and singer! I love her song's lyrics. As for Buika. Her musicians gave and outstanding performance, her voice quite peculiar but I got bored after a while.
My first comment would be about performers' CD's sold at the event. If you arranged to get all these CD's, I think it would have been a nice idea, and it would not be hard to get Buika and Lila Downs sign their CD's. This would have made those albums much attractive than the ones on store. I am a big fan of Buika and this was my first time to see Buika on stage. I felt a bit frustrated because she did not sing her nice songs. Nevertheless, even if she talked I think I would have liked again! For Lila, I cannot say anything. I did not know her before, she is very good on stage. Definitely way better than Buika. Also, an additional comment... I would have liked it more if Buika and Lila could have made a duet at some point, the two shows were totally separate! thanks for organization. It was a nice night.
