    Rockin' old school

by canadiantourist15 on 2018-10-03Poolside at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas - Las Vegas

It was an absolutely fantastic show! He played all the hits as well as some mixes with the Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Orbital from the 90's. So glad I attended!

Killer DJ Set from the Crystal Method

by sweetooth0 on 2011-04-23Tequila Night Club - Saskatoon

Both Crystal Method and Al-P (from MSTRKRFT) had killer sets of non-stop high energy beats. My wife was a little concerned going in, not expecting it to be as up-tempo as it turned out to be, but they more than exceeded our expectations! Sound was good, bloody loud, and the venue was nicely laid out for a show like this. Only complaint isn't so much a fault of the performers, but there were no Molson products available for some reason and the only decent beer they were serving was either Bud Light Lime or Stella whhich they had on top (unfortunately priced at nearly 9 bucks). Drinks aside, I'd definately check out other electronic acts at Tequila (Skrillex has spun in the past and Okenfold is coming up soon) and The Crystal Method is now on my "must see if they come here" list. Check 'em out!!

Our group had the most fantastic time, danced like maniacs and enjoyed the show. Thanks Crystal Method.

This was the coolest thing ever!!!

    by mdgray26 on 2009-07-14Whiskey - Calgary

I have been waiting for this show to happen for years. The crystal method put on an amazing show, the lights, sound and other images were incredible. They engaged with the crowd well and made everyone very excited. It was exciting to hear classic songs from the crystal method, the good old hits!!! I liked the set up of the whiskey, thought it looked very cool, different than the typical dance bar. The set up matched the crystal method set very well.

Crystal method I could do without...

by matK on 2009-07-14Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

The music was amazing, what music was played. The shortest concert I have EVER been to, and am severely disppointed and feel ripped off. 5 stars for music and NO STARS for the length of the acutal show, will not be seeing them again.

    Always unstoppable!

by DtotheC on 2009-07-14Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Second Crystal Method show attended at the Crystal Ballroom. Although attendance was lower, the show was as stompin' as ever. Good on the CM for ranging across their albums to keep the beats movin'. Opening DJ could have been more CM's style, but that's besides the point. Only downside: length of show/set. Considering the price, that's not too big a complaint. Still the best live electronic act I've ever seen.

Crystal Method delivers a great show

    by moe12357 on 2009-07-13Whiskey - Calgary

Crystal Method has such a library of great music that it was hard to not enjoy the show! I am not too familiar with their newer stuff, and after seeing the show, not terribly impressed with it. The set was a good mix of old and new, and flowed very well. The 'performance' aspect was great as well, good lights and lots to stare at. Also the stage seemed lower than usual, and it was very cool to watch the DJs do their thing.

    Crystal Method blew my mind

by Deadlock on 2009-07-13Whiskey - Calgary

This electronic band was the reason I became addicted to dance music. From the early days of listening to their energetic, surreal beats, I realized I never got a chance to see them live. After seeing them I have even more respect for this talented, driven group of Djs. The beats were infection, undulating, unbelievable

    divided by light!

by nailer on 2009-07-13Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Any crystal method (performance) is a real treat, as the listener is often exposed to tracks that have been re-mixed, dubbed out, or re worked to fit a new show. the commodore ballroom on june 1st was indication of that. Fitted with all new(and more elaborate) lighting this time around, the pairing of Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland let it fly. opening with a handfull of songs from the new "divided by night" cd...some were unrecognizable at first, but then morphed into something very familiar and far more energetic than on disc. occasionally, mega-watt white light blasts, drenched the audience...in between intense colored strobes. often, many of the songs were mixed together quite seamless...others were given breaks. often thanking the audience, and staying very interactive with the almost full house, held the crowd on their feet for nearly 100 minutes. ending the set, was some of their best earlier material. although towards the end of set, the volume was LOUD...the sound held together for an incredible night...thank you.
