Any crystal method (performance) is a real treat, as the listener is often exposed to tracks that have been re-mixed, dubbed out, or re worked to fit a new show. the commodore ballroom on june 1st was indication of that. Fitted with all new(and more elaborate) lighting this time around, the pairing of Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland let it fly. opening with a handfull of songs from the new "divided by night" cd...some were unrecognizable at first, but then morphed into something very familiar and far more energetic than on disc. occasionally, mega-watt white light blasts, drenched the audience...in between intense colored strobes. often, many of the songs were mixed together quite seamless...others were given breaks. often thanking the audience, and staying very interactive with the almost full house, held the crowd on their feet for nearly 100 minutes. ending the set, was some of their best earlier material. although towards the end of set, the volume was LOUD...the sound held together for an incredible night...thank you.
