Long Awaited Comeback Does Not Disappoint

by michaelarcher on 2013-06-03Sound Academy - Toronto

Amazing concert by the one and only Music Legend D'angelo. He certainly exceeded all expectations as his natural talent shone through in a James Brown/Prince inspired show. Can't wait for the new James River Album

    Ah-mazing!

    by Music4theSoul on 2013-06-02Sound Academy - Toronto

SEAMLESS, INCREDIBLE show from beginning to end! D'Angelo sounded like heaven and I am so happy to see him back at it again. He had the place jammin' to everything, old and NEW. The band, back up vocalists...PERFECT.

Best show I've seen in years!

by ChickenGreez on 2013-06-02Sound Academy - Toronto

Music, Music...music. No laptops...no big lights, no ramps...just musicianship, great songs, over the top vocals! The straight goods on steroids. Had been waiting to see/hear this for 13 years...exceeded every expectation.

    D'Angelo

by Nicolassa on 2013-06-02Sound Academy - Toronto

Amazing from start to finish. His band was incredible. He played the electric guitar and the keyboard ad was out of this world. One of the best concerts ive been to.

    Jello was okay

by Blackmanmisunderstood on 2013-06-02Sound Academy - Toronto

The show was in three parts for me; his voice, the band and the venue- all contributed. His voice is still amazing, the band was a bit loud i could not hear the back up singers, and Anthony Hamilton came on stage I still could not hear him, the venue's acoustics were not great, maybe that's why the band sounded loud.
