    Dr. Lonnie Smith was absolutely amazing!

    Have been fortunate enough to see many accomplished players in my life but would categorize only a select few as "exciting". Dr Lonnie Smith was so, from the beginning to the end of his set! An amazing talent, outstanding trio and great sound at the Horseshoe, couldn't ask for anything more except that I wish more people could have witnessed this exceptional performance.

    Went to see " the Doctor' , jazz B3 organ legend, and his great trio. The music was great, the venue- not so much. The horseshoe is also legendary, 50 years of hosting great live music, but the seating was suboptimal and uncomfortable.
