Dallas Cowboys Team History

The Dallas Cowboys have been led by star coaches dating back to 1960, when the franchise, then headed by Tom Landry, joined the NFL. Over the course of 29 years, Landry led the Cowboys to two Super Bowl titles, five Super Bowl appearances, five NFC Championships, 13 division titles, and 20 consecutive winning seasons. Following Landry’s tenure, the team has won three more Super Bowls in the 1992 (XXVII), 1993 (XXVIII), and 1995 (XXX) seasons.

The Cowboys have also produced stellar players, including Emmitt Smith — who led the team to win three conference championships — and Michael Irvin, who was the previous leader in all receiving categories.

Incredible Stadium - A Bucket List Item!

by Palmera on 2012-11-21Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

Second time in Dallas to watch the Cowboys play. The stadium is unbelievable. Extremely well organized, so comfortable. Jumbotron has to be seen to be believed. Not a bad seat in the house. We went 3 hours before the game and had lots to keep us busy before the game. Halftime show was a salute to the Military. Very patriotic and moving. Supportive of the troops. Cowboys won, even better. Oh yeah, and the Cheerleaders. Every bit as good as you would think. If you love football, you have to add a trip to Dallas to watch a game to your bucket list!

This was my first NFL game, and I won't forget it! Cowboys stadium is everything its said to be, and more!!! Make sure you do the tour, we did the self tour for 17.50$ the day before and got to throw the ball around on field for over 2 hours!!! Make sure to tailgate 3-4 hours prior to kick off!

    No bad view!

by Yapster on 2010-12-15Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

Having heard all the hype of the media, I had to see for myself what it was all about. Knowing what kind of person Jerry (Jones) is, I knew the new Cowboys stadium would be nothing less than stellar. Being a Cowboys fan helps to appreciate this monumental structure however even the biggest Cowboys haters would be in awe to see "Jerry's House". The party pass tickets are great and the best bang for the buck. They are located at either the east or west end of the stadium (End Zones) with the awesome screens directly in front of your eyes. We found ourselves watching the screen more than the actual field though. A must see for any fan!

    Fantastic Weekend Horrable Game

by TdotCowboysFan on 2009-11-26Cowboys Stadium - Arlington

The weekend itself was unforgettable but unfortunately the game itself stunk. Only because the team was playing like crap. Arlington was very clean and the people were quite friendly. Beautiful stadium! Would I do it again? Absolutely. Playing for next year's Superbowl!
