Judas Priest & Deep Purple Rocked!

by FalconWinnipeg on 2018-10-01Treasure Island Resort & Casino - WELCH

I really enjoyed the Judas Priest and Deep Purple show. I think that Deep Purple should have played first because Judas Priest brought the energy up so high that Deep Purple couldn't compete. Some people left after Priest finished. I was disappointed that, after they had moved the show inside (it was originally going to be in the outdoor amphitheatre), I didn't get the assigned seats I had paid for....Not happy about that.

    Great show!

First time seeing both bands and not disappointed! Would love to see Judas Priest again! Disappointed that there was a last minute venue change because of bad weather but totally understand it was for everyone’s safety and i happy about that. It sucked that they couldn’t guarantee the seat you paid for in the new venue. I spent a good chunk of change and travelled a good distance from another country to see both bands, that was annoying.

Judas Priest and Deep Purple still got it!

by guscuderi on 2018-09-04FirstOntario Centre - Hamilton

Whenever the metal gods Judas Priest or the iconic Deep Purple visit your city, don't think twice and just go see those two old school institutions. It was a lesson in classic rock and metal provided by both bands, and combined the night was even better. I only wish the fans that attended this co-headlined tour in Hamilton had more energy and showed more enthusiasm to both bands, as their performances were flawless and full of electricity and passion. For instance, when the 70-year old Glenn Tipton hit the stage not only to play the encore with his bandmates from Judas Priest, but to also show how much he loves metal and being on stage, and how much he's fighting Parkinson's disease, I thought the crowd could have provided a stronger reception to him. Anyway, the venue was cozy and the concerts were beyond amazing... what else can I ask for, right?

    Nice

In my opinion Judas should have played last. In the section 120, the vu was almost totaly obstructed for the Judas setting!!! Very disapointing!

    Amazing!

We were delighted by experience especially the Meet and Greet with the members of Deep Purple. We would have like to meet Ian Gillan as well but the other were very friendly and the moment was something to remember with pleasure.

    Excellent show and musicians.

The show itself was excellent. The sound and lighting were good. Both Judas Priest and Deep Purple are excellent musicians and showmen. Still tight after all these years. Set list contained great choices. Merchandise was typical products but its nice to see shirt sales donated to charity. The venue itself has gone downhill due to lack of decent mature properly trained staff and its filthy.

    Never enough.

Opening band not really required (isn't related to the band itself). An evening with only Judas Priest & Deep Purple would have been just perfect. We kind of "lost" precious minutes. I went there for Judas Priest but I have to admit, I really appreciated Deep Purple. They positively surprised me. 5 stars for both bands (for different reasons though). The crowd was VERY quiet. I use to see more motivated and expressive fans (wasn't the Quebec city crowd I use to rock with!).
