Deepak Chopra, MD Tickets

Deepak is incredibly brilliant and wonderful man with good JuJu. This 2 hour lecture is very, VERY heavy in scientific content. To the extent that a degree in astrophysics and neuroscience should most be a prerequisite. My Advice: Be well Deepak read and be very well rested. Or Take the money for tickets and repurpose it on a great airbnb in a natural setting and close to a yoga studio. While there consume Deepak’s sage wisdom in manageable doses via his YouTube channel. I guarantee you this is advice he’d likely endorse himself!!!

We thought we were going to an inspirational spiritual lecture discussing conscious living...but we endured a two hour lecture of the biomechanics of living cells and micro organisms. I know this man is very intelligent and accomplished but i couldn't relate to this biochemistry class and i doubt a lot of other people did either, unless their were some neuroscientists in the audience. Talking about particles, molecules,rna genomes...left people in more expensive than our $300 seats leaning over sleeping..I'm guessing this lecture ties into his new book on sale in the lobby. We thought he would devote the first hour to setting the stage and then the lecture would get interesting and thought provoking considering the amount of books this man has done on his own path to self awareness. No such luck! Anyways, the evening was then topped off with a 35 minute fume ingesting wait. The garage parking meter malfunctioned causing a huge backlog in the underground garage. I realize this is a nac issue but it was another disappointment ...on our already long hr and half drive home

Deepak is a amazing man, leader and speaker. Well worth the ticket price! Didnt receive tickets from box office. Event was volunteer run and it showed

I wish he would have been able to speak a little longer. His wisdom and talent are remarkable. His presence in the room is love and it is generated throughout his presentation.

This man has an amazing mind. I believe that the forces of the universe connected him to us, in order that we better understand the meaning of life.

He is a very interesting guy and I appreciate what he is doing but he speaks in scientific terms and ALot of it went over my head. A couple people around me were falling asleep. I enjoyed the meditation at the end! I felt like I was in a university lecture. I do like him but I wish he would speak more in laymans terms.

I have seen Deepak everytime he is in Edmonton and he never fails to amaze. He is such a great speaker and he always leads you into his subject in a logical way. He never assumes that you come to his lecture with previous knowledge of his ideas. You always go away with so much to think about.

I felt that it lacked inspiration and clarity. He simply was going through the motions. I had been looking forward to the event for some time as I had seen him previously, (approximately 5 years ago ) and had found the lecture then to be informative and inspirational. None of the above this time around.

I am a fan of Deepak Chopra. The lecture was very medical and if you did not have a good understanding of the physiology of the body, consciousness, and mind / body connections you might be lost from the get go listening to the presentation. I think for all attendees but especially for persons unfamiliar with Dr. Chopra's work it would have been better if it was a lighter presentation that gave a brief introduction to mind body connection and then go into steps to achieve wholeness and wellness as per his book "Reinventing the body, Resurrecting the soul." That's what I was hoping for and expecting.

This was my 3rd time attending an evening with Deepak Chopra and I hate to say, I was disappointed for several reasons; 1) The cost of VIP tickets offered no greater value than some snacks and Deepak reluctantly posing for photos. Now, I don't believe or agree that he should but, for the added cost of VIP tickets, I would not recommend this to anyone. 2) The lecture was too vast, covering too many items for such a short time. I could see people new to this being "lost" with information overkill. 3) To go over all the lecture information, this should be a course of 1-2 days to be effective and worth the money. 4) For the cost of attending the event, perhaps a paper copy of the lecture material would be a great takeaway. It's tough to remember so much information.
