    Mr Rickles should just retire!!!!

by mritalianman on 2016-03-29Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center - Ft Lauderdale

Don Rickles is a legend and that's part of the reason I took this opportunity to bring my dad to see this icon! But when a comedian can't stand up anymore - the show looses it's MOJO. Half of the show was old video clips!!! In which I could've seen on you tube! they didn't even use the video screen to show his face during the performance. Its critcal to focus on his expressions which make a comedian great!, we couldn't even see his face. Do NOT waste your money.

    RAPIER-SHARP WIT

by alloha on 2013-04-29River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

Okay, he's 87, he's old-school, he's Vegassy, he's kinda racist, but he's an equal opportunity racist, so get over it!! The show took a while to get going.... (15- minute late start, then his band came on, did a few strange numbers like Zorba the greek and about 10 clips of other old tunes?!) but y'know what? He's one of the funniest guys on earth and everything that comes out of his mouth is funny! If / When he comes back, DO NOT MISS HIM. I laughed all night. Loved him.

    Don Still Rocks

by Nickster46 on 2011-09-20Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Don Rickles is still amazing after all these years - I consider it a privilege that we were able to see him perform and will treasure the evening.....it is a short act but considering his age he still has it.....what we didn't enjoy AT ALL was the opening act - Kenny Coleman is long past it ..... Weak voice and no showmanship - I would suggest that he not be used as an opening act it was embarrassing to watch.

    Lost a step

by thanasbone on 2011-09-19Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

The opening act was nothing special. He was out of rhythm and off key. His voice was raspy, probably from the nite before playing at the river rock or he could have had a cold. I saw Don Rickles in Vegas abot 14 years ago and he was awesome. Looks like age has caught up to him. A few of his jokes I didn't understand because I believe he lost focus. On two occasions I asked the person beside me if he understood what was said and he didn't either. Also, the show was short with the last half hour advertising his DVDs, upcoming television performances, and being Mr. Potato Head in Toy Story. Definately NOT worth the $70.00 admission, but I had such a great time at the Vegas show 14 years ago that I would have paid double. I guess I broke even then..... LOL

    Don Rickles Coquitlam, BC

by Iser on 2011-09-19Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

I always wanted to see him in real life and watch his show. Never had a chance, it wasn’t possible until Sat Sep 17, 20011. It's fantastic to listen about all his old friends in Las Vegas, including Jerry Lewis. What a voice he has for singing! I would in a heartbeat go again. I was disappointed about one thing though, usually after the show if you stay and there were a few people like myself and other wanted to see him in person for some kind words and shaking hands. Thank was too bad, hope in the future they could do something about that. Suggestions have a spoke person to do the go between and let him know whose waiting and if it’s safe, cause its life time missed opportunity. I’m 52 years old and wanted to see him in person since I was 16 years old.

    An Entertainer Legend, Don Rickles

by SquamishRose on 2011-09-19Red Robinson Show Theatre - Coquitlam

Don Rickles was amazing! Don still knows how to entertain a crowd, no matter the age. Young and old were laughing! It isn't that often that you see someone who has been in the entertainment business for over 60 years and has influenced so many comic's of today. Don Rickles is a class act and deserved all those standing ovations! When he comes to town again, I am sure that me and my husband will be there again!
