...should have read 'the story' at home...

I drummed up images in my mind before going of an experience that would tell a story, have connection etc....Well not here... First of all I didn't feel as though I was listening to the real artist...at all. Playing Pink Floyd songs doesn't make you a tribute band. The vocals were way off and out of tune 80% of the night - the few people that stayed to endure this show after spending too much on it, whinced several times and a few chuckles as well. The main lead guitar was not at all like Gilmour and why did he think loud was good...thin sound and poor tone. Where was the famous Gilmour tone in the story here? The rhythms were wrong in the bass and guitar and quite frankly I don't think these folk actually sat down and practiced... I thought the drummer was in the wrong band and looked lost most times - female screeching was terrible indeed. The visuals were also quite lame and looked as though they were grabbed from a cheap micosoft disk or in some cases just plain plagerism...have a look at either the Australian or British band and the one from Canada - excellent use of visuals and lights. Lastly there was NO story and I was bored to tears - felt like I needed a nap and stayed as I just couldn't justify wasting money...looking back I wasted valuable time. Was it a total loss...well no but only in a bar and only for about 8-10 bucks...
