Still one of the best minor league parks in North America. Great outing for baseball fans and families.
Our entire family had a great time at the Prospects game. Overall lots of fun. Encourage others who have not attended a baseball game to go check one out.
Finally made it to the Edmonton Ballpark to watch the Prospects play. They didn't win but it was still a fun evening watching our home team play. The only negative comment I have is regarding the concessions. They should have had more open as it took over 1/2 hour standing in line to get another beverage. Too long in my opinion as I missed 2 full innings.
was exciting through out the game. The atmosphere was good. Loved the chants. The Prospects plays were well executed. My group thoroughly enjoyed the game.
We bought four tickets in the Home Base Lounge for my mother-in-law's birthday. The game was fun. Very exciting. The Prospects won in the last inning. We found the facility to be very dirty. Both the men's and women's washrooms were filthy. The paper towel dispensers were empty. The garbage cans were overflowing. This was at the beginning of the game. They looked as though they had not been cleaned after the previous event. Very disappointed with Telus Field. The Home Plate Lounge was a joke. $30 per ticket. Nothing special included. The place was full of children. The play by play for the game was not piped into the lounge so you couldn't hear what was going on. Couldn't get an extra cup for a side of ice because it would mess up their inventory.
Ball field was great, clean and easy to watch from our seats. The cheerleaders were pleasant and even brought two of my boys for a contest on the field. I'm coming back next turnaround from work to see another game with my boys. Affordable and the talent was competitive. Great job!!! Only disappointment was we couldn't get a foul ball signed because of a game loss meeting:(
The baseball game was great - the concessions at Telus Field were a disaster-waited 1 1/2 hours in line to get served!! Missed the last 4 innings of the game!
I think the Telus field folks were overwhelmed and surprised by the Canada Day crowd, probably 4x the usual crowd at the field. The concession lines were 40 minutes minimum, people missing 2-3 innings of the game. Also, the beer selection bites.
As a long time Edmonton baseball fan, going back to the Trappers, I was happy to see the caliber of the game last Sunday. I am going again to see the Prospect final game on Thusday and will buy season tickets next year.
Beautiful evening for a game. Very good product talent wise. Crowd was fantastic. Only strike was the concession line ups, but the staff did their best to get people through quickly and were very friendly.
