My food at river cree was horrible. The artists were good but it was echoing and the acoustics were off. The mics were not tuned. Plus distractions off the photographers that work for venue run up on stage and back and forth was not professional.
It was fantastic. It was great as a small group audience everyone was up front and personal. We preferred George's performance more then emmerson drive's but they were in no way bad. I think it is probably a middle age thing and George had stories about his trips to the middle east and he is from Calgary. I loved seeing the flames players milling about but neither them nor the audience made it about the players. We were all just people. Not who has more money or is more well known! It was great that there was a veteran there who shared his experience of being a vet and the sacrifice he made for us, complete strangers, It felt really great to give to the armed forces and have fun doing it. They are the ones who have made it safe for us to enjoy such a great event. Cudos to Joe for leading by example.

Unfortunately this concert was not for the older generation. The music was too loud, then entertainers yelled instead of singing therefore the lyrics could not be understood. I suppose if you knew the song you may understand. The two young entertainers from Abbotsford & Penticton were very good, but not understandable. Aaron Prechett was the best of the whole show & the most country of the works. Emerson Drive came on with non recognizable songs and so loud we had to leave after the 2nd number. The acoustics in the arenas are not conducive to that type of entertainment. We will not attend concerts in arenas again. We'll stick strictly to smaller venues.
Emerson Drive is a solid act. The leader singer, Brad mates, has a great voice that is even more enjoyable live. No opening act, and they managed to make it feel like a full night event. I would strongly recommend this show to others. I'm already looking forward to their next show.
Excellant show , so full of energy and the singing was amazing !
Overall a great concert, but definitely lacking a opening act to round out the night. Great intimate venue which was very cool to be up so close, and have the concert very personal. A bit disappointed that one of their band members had changed, and the member that was not there was so good with the violin and fiddle, and made a big difference in their songs. Didn't quite sound the same without it. But overall it was great. Have been listening to their music since their first CD came out.
The show was amazing! I have seen Emerson Drive in a bigger venue but I love the smaller venue better. They were non stop enterntainment band. I have followed them since they got started in Grande Prairie and watched them grow to be what they are today........................FANTASTIC! Thank you for a great evening of fun, laughter and great music!
Emerson drive were absolutely awesome every time they come to the Peg we go see them...amazing as always
