An impeccable performance and a great way to kick off the 2019-20 holiday season. I am an unabashed fan of ECB and she just keeps getting better and better. A great mix of holiday classics as well as some songs from her previous albums featuring her own arrangments. A shout out to her band as well..great musicians in their own right...Reg Schwager, Kelly Jefferson, Amanda Tosoff, Daniel Fortin and Fabio Ragnelli. All in all a great night of music. proving once again Canada has the best musicians in the world! Look forward to Emilie-Claire returning to Ottawa soon.

Emilie-Claire has a great voice and a great stage presence. This show was amazing with the 60 member orchestra and great songs.. If there was anything negative it was the way the lighting would allow the harsh spot lights to point at the audience for mush too long time frames.

Theater was too warm; artist was too French. Does the Canada Council grants have anything to do with our Canadian jazz singers all recording in French now (making records that nobody will buy)?

Mesmerizing performance by Emelie-Claire and her band. Very soulfoul and fun. Loved the George Jones rendition!

I was a fan the first time I heard her on CD, but you never know how good an artist is until you see/hear them live. Emilie Claire Barlow is magnificent. Her tuning, timbre, delivery - everything is perfect in my book. The arrangements are fresh, the band is the best - I can't say enough good things about this show!

The concert was a fine performance with the accomplished accompanying musicians adding suitable balance to Em's voicing. I am a jazz fan in general but I especially enjoy Em's refined character and her unique interpretations of familiar tunes in this smooth jazz form. Her musical presentations were colourful with the qualities of melody, harmony & rhythm that I consider quite refined & largely missing in most pop music today. Another item of note was that the volume of group was just right for me - Em's voice was a bit weak at the start but it seemed as though the sound technician(s) noticed it as it was equalized well for the rest of the concert.
