I have seen Eric Burdon twice now, at this theater.. The first time was good. The second time, they were O.K.

ERIC BURDON & THE ANIMALS WERE GREAT

by FLASHER on 2017-06-21Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

IT WAS A REALLY GOOD CONCERT. THE HORNS, GUITARISTS, KEYBOARDS, WERE GREAT & A FANTASTIC LEAD GUITARIST, & OF COURSE ERIC BURDON CAN STILL ROCK FOR HIS AGE. ENJOYED THE CONCERT VERY MUCH. THE ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THAT THEY DID NOT DO THE SONG, " SAN FRANCISCO". I WAS REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING THAT PARTICULAR SONG.

Great voice....should have taken better care of hi

by DDavid on 2017-06-20Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

Great song catalog but I don't think Eric has taken care of himself-too bad. Pretty good voice and decent back up band. We really didn't need to hear him complaining about the sound systems--that's what sound checks are for...all in all it was still good to see a living legend.

A whole new batch of animals

Amazing new "animals". Great musicians. Heart thumpingly fantastic. The music and lyrics still apply today.

    Short show like Eric

by Crippler on 2017-06-20Hard Rock Casino Vancouver - Coquitlam

Mr. Burdon played for 1 hour and 20 minutes. The shortest show I have been to. At age 76 im not surprised. The band didn't click with Eric. Show started with a hiccup he didnt like the sound was a bit of an echo, so there was bit of delay...from there it went down hill. Me and my buddy discussed leaving early.

sadly couldn't go, had a wedding to attend on the same day, gave the tickets to my cousins who had a great time. Hope to catch them when they return.

No he doesn't have his voice

by Landman99 on 2017-06-18Hard Rock Casino - Coquitlqm

If it wasn't for his hand who were all in their 20's I think most people would have left, he should retire from performing as he has lost his voice. Most of his classic songs he destroyed including house of the rising sun. I have read some of the higher reviews and don't understand He even introduced his guitar player at least three times.. outside of midnight oil this was one of the worst concerts and quite frankly a money grab. Thank god the tickets were not too expensive but then again you get what you pay for,. Was diappoinried for sure as I am a big fan of Eric Burdon, but have to release this memory of a bad concert from my mind

    Time to retire

by Landman99 on 2017-06-18Hard Rock Casino - Coquitlam

The songs were good due to a pretty decent band but poor Eric's voice just wasnt the same. Brutal rendition of house of the rising sun
