Flashback : A wonderfull and inspiring evening !

by PCrecord on 2012-10-30Casino of Hull - Hull

It was remarkable to see the artists performing their own songs and hear some stories about their artistic experiences. In the assistance, seeing everybody up and dancing around me has just proven that I was'nt the only one enjoying the show. Some humour, a dance troop with many costumes, 3 great artists, a live band and 3 big screen completed this great recipe of success. I guess I'll go back to see them soon..

    Flashback Party 70-80's Disco Night

by sueduran on 2012-08-01Casino du Lac Leamy - GATINEAU

The performances themselves were not terrible. The singers had great voices and parts of the show were actually enjoyable. What I didn't like were the choices of songs. Over half I had never heard before and I love disco music from both the 70's and 80's. The most irritating part was the intros. Each artist would do a little talking intro before playing each song and it was entirely in French. No translation whatsoever. In Ontario the artists have the courtesy of doing English and then French. I think the bio for the show should have been explained before tickets went on sale as I never would have bought them to an all french show. Live and learn. If you are english only, do not buy tickets to a show playing at Lac Leamy.
