Flatley Presents: Lord Of The Dance - Dangerous Games (NY) Tickets

While the show was amazing and would recommend, I would not recommend the venue.

I was so excited to go and see this but overall I found it quite disappointing. It may have been unfair to compare but having seen riverdance all those years ago I was expecting something similar. The best points for me were the men's dancing which was good and strong and the line ups at the end. The disappointments were lack of cohesion, was there a story? The women dancing I found very weak. I was so hoping for Irish singing but it was more cruise ship singing. Where was Michael Flatley?! The seats were bad also. I was stupid to buy seats on the floor as could not see their feet but couldn't really see anything. Fortunately there were seats in the stands so we moved as did many people after us. We ordered Apple fries which the lady serving hadn't heard of! We should have changed our minds then as clearly the kitchen hadn't heard of them either and hadn't cooked them and they were disgusting.

The dancing and lead dancer were very good but the theme was a little weak and felt like a small burlesque with my grandchildren but all in all very well done.
