    Franklin the great

by CDiddy on 2010-10-26Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Took my 2 and a half year old son to see this show this past weekend, and he had a blast. The songs and charectors were great and the show was just the right lengh, with an intermission right in the middle. My son loved it so much that he was asking if Franklin could come and live with us after the show. lol I would definitly recommend this show to anyone with small children

    Franklin was fine

by Scotia72 on 2010-10-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The show was appropriate for my 4 year old and his friend and they both sat attentively watching, but both asked at the end where the fire breathing dragon was! The show did teach about courage and friendship but I've seen better children's show and it was not an inexpensive day out.

Amazing show for kids and adults

by ElliesMommy on 2010-10-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

As soon as I found out that Franklin was coming to Toronto I jumped to get Tickets. My daughter loves Franklin and boy am I glad that I did. The show was amazing! My daughter loved it! And I enjoyed it to. It had interactive moments where they would get the audience involved and had the children up dancing. My daughter sang and danced along the whole show. She loved seeing Franklin, Snail, Bear, Fox and Rabbit in front of her, live and breathing! I have nothing but great things to say and would recommend this show to all of my friends with children, even if they don't like Franklin, they would love this show.

Franklin and the adventures of the noble knight

by Mommabear91 on 2010-10-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

My daughter is 23months old and she just loved it. It was her first live show and she was so excited during the show clapping and dancing infront of her chair. The performance was great and I highly recommend the show and Sony Centre itself.

    Story was s-l-o-w

by minivanmama on 2010-10-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

I can only give this a "fair' rating b/c the 2 four year olds who attended thought it was good. But from an adult perspective, the story was lacking, the sets were sad, the songs were mediocre, and a lot of it didn't make sense. Would not recommend, best part was being in the Sony Centre (which is beautiful).

Franklin and friends could use a bath.

by momster13 on 2010-10-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Overall the whole family enjoyed the show. I did find that the costumes were noticeably dirty and torn, and the furry characters were mangy looking. For me it took me away from the story seeing that.

    Franklin was a child's dream

by Terber1 on 2010-10-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

Took my nephew for his very 1st stage production. I was not disappointed. To see his eyes light up when Franklin walked on the stage was all I needed. My nephew is 4 years old and I was concerned that he would not sit still, but the play kept him in his seat totally engrossed in the play. My nephew did an inventory of each character that he knows from watching Franklin on TV and was thrilled when they all came on stage. At the end of the play, he was one of many dancing in the aisle. I noticed that there was very little sound coming from the audience during the play which leads me to believe that each child was captured by the play just like my nephew. Thanks for giving a child a wonderful memory!

    My son enjoyed

by littleman on 2010-10-25Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto

The main thing was that my son enjoyed it. Personally I did not think it was worth the money, but the show was not for me but my son.

The quality of the production was excellent. However, the storyline was too dragged out to keep the attention of the four year old who accompanied me. At the intermission, the comment was " this is going on too long". This comment was made by one who will sit for hours at one task.
