by Goofy555 on 2013-10-13Rochester Auditorium Theatre - RochesterI loved the movie, "Ghost", so was greatly looking forward to seeing this musical production. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The movie was tender; I didn't find this production at all tender. I felt that the psychic & her 2 assistants really "overplayed" their parts. I liked the male lead very much. However, I was disappointed in the voice of the female lead. This was a difficult part with difficult music to sing. However, given the range of great young talent available across North America, I was surprised that her singing voice was not stronger & more able to reach the range of notes that were required. I thought she did better in the acting part of the role. I'm not sure why the dancers needed to be so "stiff". I think more "flowing" choreography would be have been more pleasing to the eye. I found that the stiffness & harshness of the production to be "off putting". Unfortunately, although this extremely rarely happens, as I absolutely adore most Broad- way musicals, I would not recommend this production to my friends. Thanks very asking. Goofy555

The dancing,music,staging and special effects were beyond comparison. I think it is a must see for people who love new and exciting theatre experiences.
