Canadian singer Ginette Reno, born Ginette Raynault, got her start performing at Montreal cabarets in her teenage years. She released her self-titled debut album in 1962 to critical acclaim and commercial success, becoming a superstar virtually overnight. This amazing woman's voice is still powerful and clear. The whole evening was entertaining and fun. A two hour performance of singing, a little dancing, interaction and funny stories of her life. Just her and her band and her voice, nothing flashy, just magic. She sang all of her big hits and I recommend if you want to see a pure artist, go see Ginette.

She had seen Jinette in her home town of Grand Mère Québec some 50 years ago when Jinette was only 16. Mom was dating dad at the time. This concert brought back a flood of beautiful memories. Dad has sinced passed away. Jinette served joy, laughter and tears. She reached right into me heart , took it and loved it the best that she could. She not only gives song but her whole being to her performance. It was a real treat to finally see her in person. The hall was full and everyone stood up as she first entered the stage. She is loved and appreciated by thousands in Québec and internationally especially by the french speaking world.

My wife is a big fan, and she was just so thrilled she had tears flowing. The orchestra was just unbelievable in sync with Madam Reno. She has a great sense of humour and used it with the crowd, having her son as her conductor just adds to the flow.

by Royaltreat on 2014-05-28National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaShe was just amazing for a 68 year old woman...wow...she was funny, she could dance and you could tell that she was having a great time...Her son was having fun with his mother and you could tell they have a special relationship together....She sang with the heart and all her songs was very moving...people even cry for some of her songs...We really had a great time me and my fiance...WOW...thank you GINETTE RENO XXXXXXXX

I adore Her, even after all this time she still gives me "major goosebumps" when I hear her sing. I keep praying that one day i'll meet this great Lady xoxo
